JOB PURPOSE

This role combines market insight, data analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration to support strategic decision‑making across the organization.
The position focuses on two key areas:
1. Market Intelligence – collecting, organising, and sharing market insights to enable informed business decisions.
2. Price Governance – monitoring and analysing pricing data for selected automotive parts to support consistency, profitability, and global alignment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Market Intelligence Research & Communication

Ownership of the Global Market Intelligence process to ensure the business has reliable, accessible, and actionable insights.

  • Maintain and update the Market Data Portal, ensuring information remains accurate, complete, and business‑ready.
  • Support users by managing access, guiding new and existing users, and delivering clear and practical annual trainings.
  • Perform targeted ad‑hoc analysis using data from the Market Data Portal (QlikSense) to support business questions.
  • Monitor external sources for new market reports and trends; organise and archive relevant findings on the Market Intelligence SharePoint.
  • Prepare and issue the monthly Global Market Intelligence Newsletter, sharing useful and insightful information and news across the business.

Global Minimum Price Governance (GMP)

Support the development and maintenance of global pricing guidelines for key product groups, ensuring alignment and visibility across regions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring key KPIs to detect trends, improvement areas, and risks.
  • Communicating findings in a clear and collaborative way to regional teams.
  • Creating simple and intuitive trackers to help regions monitor progress and stay aligned.
  • Support our pricing process by keeping key prices and exchange rates up to date in our pricing tool and by managing easy‑to‑use PowerBi dashboards that help regions clearly understand their pricing and spot improvement opportunities.

Administrative Support for the Pricefx Tool

  • Manage user licenses, roles, and access rights.
  • Monitor workflow approvals to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Support ongoing system improvements by documenting needs and testing enhancements.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requirements related to data accuracy and user access.
  • Maintain clear and complete documentation for internal controls.
  • Impactful Work – Your insights directly help teams around the world make smarter decisions.

  • Ownership & Autonomy – You’ll manage your own processes, contribute improvements, and take the lead in your areas of expertise.
     

Required education and experience

  • University degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in Statistics, Economics, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a global or commercial environment.
  • 1+ years of experience using Pricefx or similar B2B pricing or analytical tools (e.g., SAP, PowerBi, Qlik, Tableau).
  • Understanding of market dynamics, pricing concepts, and financial impacts—experience in the automotive aftermarket is an advantage.

Expected skills & competencies

  • Resilient, driven, self-starter, able to constructively challenge whilst working within capable and resilient teams to support delivery of business objectives
  • Experienced in data analysis, interpretation and creative visualization
  • Demonstrate project management skills, able to remain pro-active and commercially focused when supporting delivery of financial and time based objectives
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office and data analytics software
