Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and lead the global payroll transformation strategy aligned with business goals
- Partner with P&C, Finance, IT, and regional payroll teams to drive alignment and execution
Process Optimization
- Assess current payroll processes, systems, and vendors across countries
- Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and centralization
Technology Implementation
- Ensure optimal configuration and integration for payroll systems, leveraging automation where possible
- Partner with IT and vendors to troubleshoot issues and implement enhancements
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure global payroll operations comply with local labor laws, tax regulations, and data privacy standards.
- Establish robust controls and audit mechanisms.
Change Management
- Drive stakeholder engagement and communication plans.
- Lead training and adoption initiatives for new systems and processes.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with internal customers to ensure seamless payroll operations
- Manage relationships with external payroll providers, ensuring service level agreements are met and addressing any issues that arise
Performance Monitoring
- Define KPIs and SLAs to measure payroll accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency
- Continuously monitor and improve payroll service delivery
What will help you succeed
- Proven experience in payroll management, with significant experience in a leadership/transformation role
- Proven track record of leading large-scale payroll transformation projects
- Excellent knowledge of global payroll regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience with global payroll platforms (ADP, Cloudpay)
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- PMP, MSP or equivalent project management certification - Practitioner level
- Change Management certification - Practitioner level
- Ability to work across cultures and time zones
