Your role at Dynatrace
Dynatrace are seeking a strategic and results-driven Global Payroll Transformation Lead to spearhead the modernization and optimization of our global payroll operations.
This role will lead the design and execution of a multi-year transformation roadmap, ensuring scalable, compliant, and efficient payroll processes across all regions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in global payroll, change management, and digital transformation.
This role will be hired as a Fixed Term Contract for 15 months. We are able to consider Hybrid and Remote working.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and lead the global payroll transformation strategy aligned with business goals
  • Partner with P&C, Finance, IT, and regional payroll teams to drive alignment and execution

Process Optimization
  • Assess current payroll processes, systems, and vendors across countries
  • Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and centralization

Technology Implementation
  • Ensure optimal configuration and integration for payroll systems, leveraging automation where possible
  • Partner with IT and vendors to troubleshoot issues and implement enhancements

Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure global payroll operations comply with local labor laws, tax regulations, and data privacy standards.
  • Establish robust controls and audit mechanisms.

Change Management
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and communication plans.
  • Lead training and adoption initiatives for new systems and processes.

Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Work closely with internal customers to ensure seamless payroll operations
  • Manage relationships with external payroll providers, ensuring service level agreements are met and addressing any issues that arise

Performance Monitoring
  • Define KPIs and SLAs to measure payroll accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency
  • Continuously monitor and improve payroll service delivery

What will help you succeed
  • Proven experience in payroll management, with significant experience in a leadership/transformation role
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale payroll transformation projects
  • Excellent knowledge of global payroll regulations and compliance requirements
  • Experience with global payroll platforms (ADP, Cloudpay)
  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • PMP, MSP or equivalent project management certification - Practitioner level
  • Change Management certification - Practitioner level
  • Ability to work across cultures and time zones
