We're looking for a Global Employment Tax Specialist to lead employment and mobility tax matters across multiple jurisdictions. This hands-on role will provide guidance on cross-border employment, international assignments, and incentive taxation.

Your future role within QRT includes:

  • Advise on the global tax treatment of international assignments, cross-border remote work, and business travel
  • Evaluating and managing permanent establishment (PE) and corporate tax risks linked to mobile employees
  • Working with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with local income tax, payroll, and social security obligations for mobile employees
  • Liaising with external tax preparers and overseeing the use of shadow payroll and hypothetical tax arrangements
  • Collaborating with HR and Finance to ensure correct reporting, withholding and gross-ups
  • Driving process improvements and strengthening internal controls related to employment-related tax exposures
  • Assessing and monitoring global tax developments related to equity-based compensation taxation, employee incentives, and benefit-in-kind rules

Your present skillset:

  • 6+ years’ experience in global mobility and/or employment tax, with Big 4 or an in-house background
  • CTA, ADIT, ACA, CPA, or equivalent qualification
  • Financial services experience preferred but not essential
  • Commercially astute, strategic thinker with a pragmatic approach
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented with strong project management ability
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work independently
