We're looking for a Global Employment Tax Specialist to lead employment and mobility tax matters across multiple jurisdictions. This hands-on role will provide guidance on cross-border employment, international assignments, and incentive taxation.
Your future role within QRT includes:
- Advise on the global tax treatment of international assignments, cross-border remote work, and business travel
- Evaluating and managing permanent establishment (PE) and corporate tax risks linked to mobile employees
- Working with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with local income tax, payroll, and social security obligations for mobile employees
- Liaising with external tax preparers and overseeing the use of shadow payroll and hypothetical tax arrangements
- Collaborating with HR and Finance to ensure correct reporting, withholding and gross-ups
- Driving process improvements and strengthening internal controls related to employment-related tax exposures
- Assessing and monitoring global tax developments related to equity-based compensation taxation, employee incentives, and benefit-in-kind rules
Your present skillset:
- 6+ years’ experience in global mobility and/or employment tax, with Big 4 or an in-house background
- CTA, ADIT, ACA, CPA, or equivalent qualification
- Financial services experience preferred but not essential
- Commercially astute, strategic thinker with a pragmatic approach
- Highly organised and detail-oriented with strong project management ability
- Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work independently
