Description

Global Logistics Manager

The Global Logistics Manager will lead the strategic planning and execution of transporting our finished vehicles from our production plant in France to key destinations worldwide. This pivotal role requires collaboration with regional teams and managing the headquarters team in London to ensure seamless, end-to-end delivery from the plant to our customers. By leveraging logistics providers, the manager will secure cost-effective solutions while upholding our standards for quality, timeliness, and customer experience. Responsibilities also include overseeing quality control, managing contracts, and resolving issues to ensure vehicles are delivered in perfect condition, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Responsible for Management and Delivery of the Finished Vehicle (FV) Outbound Logistics Strategy for Start Up Car Maker moving to BAU
  • Leading the legal response to procurement and supply chain issues which arise and affect supply to INEOS Automotive
  • Delivery of the Global Fleet Management for internal fleet
  • Logistics ERP System data accuracy, and system improvement
  • Global Trade Tariff and Compliance Strategy
  • Optimised & Standardised Global Process Design and Delivery
  • Ensuring Consistent Delivery of Global Brand Promise and Customer Experience
  • Outbound Logistics Cost optimisation and budget management

What we are looking for:

  • Automotive Industry experience in global Logistics Services
  • Knowledge and experience of SAP 4 Hana or similar
  • Experience of managing significant contracts of a high value
  • Excellent Contract & Supplier Management
  • Proven ability to work effectively, managing stakeholder relations and expectations
  • Experience managing a team of direct and indirect reports
  • Global Mindset & Experience
