Meet the Team

DeepL is on a transformation, as we scale and bring the value of our market leading AI solutions to more and more Enterprise organisations globally. A critically important part of this transformation is our Solution Consulting team, and as such we are hiring a brand new position; Global Head of Solution Consulting.

This role will report directly into the CRO and will have leadership responsibility for four teams covering US, Japan, EMEA and our new Agentic AI division.

We’re looking for a technical thought leader, an innovator and someone who brings a commercially driven eye to the way they scale and support the GTM organisation.

Your Responsibilities
  • Shape and own the global strategy for our Solution Consulting department.

  • Bring a customer first obsession and a passion for figuring out how our solutions best unlock technical value for our customers.

  • Lead and inspire a team of first line leaders, and their reports setting a clear vision and goals that also align with DeepL’s broader strategy.

  • Support the scale of the global team for today whilst also thinking about what’s needed 2-5 years down the line.

  • Foster a culture of team work, accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Standardize best practices and processes — sales playbooks, technical assessments, demos, and workshops — to continuously improve team efficiency and customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to stay ahead of product innovations, integrating new features and feedback into your team’s approach and enabling them to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

  • Act as a customer champion, ensuring feedback and insights are channelled effectively into DeepL’s product roadmap, messaging, and overall customer experience.

Qualities we look for
  • Significant leadership experience, including managing managers.

  • Ideally, you've led a global or if not EMEA wide organization before.

  • You’ve grown your career as a Solution Consultant / Sales Engineer / Pre-Sales Consultant and so bring first hand insight on best practice in the role.

  • Experience working for high growth SaaS or AI organizations.

  • Proven track record of building high-performing teams that meet and exceed objectives.

  • Demonstrate strong customer empathy and passion for revenue growth, backed by in-depth knowledge of enterprise technology solutions.

  • Outstanding leadership skills, with a commitment to cultivating talent, fostering collaboration, and promoting a culture of continuous learning.

  • Exceptional communication skills across mediums and stakeholder groups — capable of simplifying complex concepts and presenting them effectively to diverse audiences (employees, execs, customers, prospects).
