 In this role, you will be responsible for implementing SEO strategies that drive new customer acquisition and adoption. Reporting directly to the Senior Digital Marketing Director, the head of SEO will be leading a team of 3, responsible for ensuring that SEO serves as a massive catalyst for our aggressive growth plans across 20+ website locales.

This is a hands-on role that requires and energetic, self-motivated individual who has not only a strong technical and analytical background but also strong people management and internal stakeholder management experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Expert in the day-to-day SEO work including keyword research, rank-tracking, competitive analysis, technical auditing, page optimization, SEO content strategy, site relaunches, technical improvements, authority acquisition strategy, troubleshooting organic traffic anomalies, etc.
  • Build out the Acronis global SEO strategy and framework and adapt it to 20+ international market requirements
  • Leverage content strategy on content plan and coordinate its generation and multilanguage adoption
  • Develop and enhance the Acronis SEO strategy to achieve and surpass immediate business goals, while maintaining a long-term vision to stay ahead of search engine trends
  • Conduct in-depth technical audits and analyze Acronis SEO performance and site health, identify issues, find root causes, and experiment with solutions to improve performance at scale.
  • Drive team success through effective leadership, mentorship, and functional guidance. Collaborate closely with content creators, web developers, and marketing teams across the organization. Balance strategic oversight with hands-on contributions
  • Communicate SEO performance and initiative status to stakeholders in weekly business reviews, identify areas of opportunity, and recommend ways to drive traffic and improve KPIs
  • Clearly define the business case for your SEO recommendations and apply prioritization to those issues
  • Manage critical cross-functional relationships with the web team, product marketing, performance marketers, content marketing, designers, communications, SEO vendors, and other teams in multiple regions to ensure alignment to drive implementation of the product roadmap that will optimize for ROI
  •  Provide organization-wide education and support for SEO, be the advocate for SEO and SEO best practices at Acronis collaborate with the rest of the team to develop and deliver a consistent measurement framework globally
  • Design, execute, and report on SEO experiments, evaluating them against business KPIs
  • Lead on all UX and technical SEO matters; identifying and reporting opportunities for CRO improvement

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 8+ years of experience working in SEO, 2+ years in a leadership position, and 2+ years of international SEO experience
  • Proven track of proficiency in Technical SEO in driving consistent year-on-year organic growth through sound strategies and expert use of data
  • Functional expertise in using SEO tools, including Google Analytics, SEMrush, Google Search Console (GSC), Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and more
  • Hands-on experience with optimizing 500k+ traffic websites with multiple locales websites that met or exceeded specific business rules (such as conversion rates)
  • Ability to make website coding changes – website development skills a highly desirable particularly with languages such as HTML and PHP and platforms such as Drupal, WordPress, and SPA (Single Page Application) – and an understanding of how other scripts, including JSON, CSS, and JavaScript, affect SEO
  • A deep understanding of B2B marketing, with Business Applications (SalesForce), will be a plus
  • Possibility of frequent business trips to the USA and to other countries
  • Fluent English
