Are you a performance-driven digital marketing leader with deep expertise in search and paid media? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and love driving measurable growth? We’re looking for an Interim Head of Global Acquisition ( fixed term contract) to take the reins while our current leader is on maternity leave. This role will oversee all paid acquisition efforts, including PPC (Google Ads) and Social Media (Mainly LinkedIn), ensuring the team continues to execute high-performing campaigns that drive pipeline and revenue growth. The ideal candidate has a strong background in paid digital media, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration. This is a unique opportunity to shape a high-performing acquisition strategy that fuels our pipeline and revenue across global markets.

What You’ll Be Leading1. Acquisition Strategy & Leadership

  • Own and execute a high-impact global acquisition strategy, focusing on PPC (Google Ads, LinkedIn, etc.) and paid social.

  • Lead a talented team of PPC and social media specialists (1 PPC Manager, 1 PPC Contractor, 1 Social Media Manager, 2 Social Media Seniors, 1 Social Media Contractor).

  • Oversee budget allocation and performance forecasting to ensure efficient investment across AMERS, UK, DACH, SE, and APAC.

2. PPC & Paid Media Growth

  • Drive a high-performing PPC strategy that fuels lead generation and pipeline acceleration.

  • Continuously optimize keywords, ad copy, bidding strategies, and audience targeting to maximize ROI.

  • Ensure seamless alignment between PPC and overall business goals to maintain and elevate performance.

3. Social Media Performance (LinkedIn-Focused)

  • Own the paid social strategy, with a strong emphasis on LinkedIn Ads, ensuring campaigns drive engagement, lead generation, and brand awareness.

  • Implement a full-funnel approach (TOFU, MOFU, BOFU) to maximize conversion impact.

  • Work closely with Sales, Demand Generation, and Field Marketing to align efforts for maximum impact.

  • Lead and optimize the Employee Advocacy Program, providing best practices, templates, and performance benchmarks to enhance organic reach.

  • Stay ahead of LinkedIn best practices, audience segmentation, and ad format innovations to keep our strategy cutting-edge.

4. Performance Monitoring & Optimization

  • Drive a data-driven approach to campaign performance, continuously identifying optimization opportunities.

  • Oversee Dreamdata, Power BI, and Looker Studio reporting to track performance against goals.

  • Improve ROI measurement & attribution, incorporating First & Last Touch tracking for LinkedIn.

  • Maintain weekly & monthly reports, ensuring transparency on H2 goals and budget performance.

5. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Mentor and coach the PPC and Social Media teams, fostering professional growth and strategic thinking.

  • Drive collaboration across Field Marketing, Product Marketing, and external partners (LinkedIn reps, agencies).

  • Optimize campaign execution processes, audience retargeting, and lead follow-up workflows for efficiency and impact.

Paid Digital Marketing Expert – You bring deep expertise in Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and performance marketing with a track record of driving growth.
B2B Growth Strategist – You understand long sales cycles, lead nurturing, and pipeline generation in a B2B environment.
Proven Leader – You’ve led and developed teams, managing both in-house specialists and external contractors.
Data-Driven Decision Maker – You leverage Looker Studio, Power BI, Dreamdata, SFDC, and Google Analytics to measure, optimize, and scale performance.
Strategic & Hands-On – You can develop high-level growth strategies and dive into execution details when needed.
Collaborative & Agile – You thrive in cross-functional environments, aligning with Sales, Product Marketing, and Field Marketing to drive results.
