As a Global Front End Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for

  • Contribute to drive cross commodity and business oriented initiatives to streamline business processes and standards

    • Capturing of COQ (Cost of Quality) and VR (Vendor Recovery)

    • Drive a supplier strategy governance in order to align expectations and capacity on qualification activities serving deflation projects and cost out activities.

    • Suppliers’ Scorecards

    • Suppliers’ Capability Matrix

  • Drive complex suppliers’ related problem solving activities across the sites

  • Drive improvement initiatives to top offender suppliers on a global scale to reduce the number of disturbances/nonconformances to BH facilities

  • Manage effective communication between the project execution team (e.g., Buyer, Fulfillment, Project Manager, Project Quality Manager, Project Engineer, etc.) and suppliers, to ensure quality and on-time delivery execution.

  • Advises Functional managers or other Functions regarding approaches, processes and procedures in the own field.

  • Handles communication with direct colleagues and the business about approach and methods for solving complex problems

  • Leads as a project leader of medium sized projects or is a major contributor to bigger projects. Work goals typically take 3-6 months to complete and the time horizon for results/impact is typically 2-12 months after the event

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (engineering degree as a matter of preference)

  • At least 8-10 years of experience, thereof minimum of 2-3 additional years of experience covering Quality Roles. (previous expertise in oil & gas/automotive business as a plus).

  • Fluent English mandatory

  • Project Management Qualification records/certifications

  • Experience with QA/QC tools and problem solving techniques.

  • Willingness to travel frequently (up to 50% of the time).

  • Own a significant experience in one or more of the following industrial areas: raw material, machined parts, engineered systems.

  • Own strong project management skill and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
