Job Description
Overview: Join our dynamic Global Equities Financial Reporting Product Control team within the Equities Product Controller organization, a vital part of JPMorgan's Corporate Investment Bank (CIB) Finance and Business Management (F&BM). As a global leader in equities solutions, we offer a diverse range of products, including equity derivatives, structured liabilities, cash equity products and more.
Role Description: As a member of our diverse and inclusive team, you will be responsible for managing key external reporting disclosures across our global business, including the firm's quarterly and annual filings with global regulators. You will contribute to our strategic initiatives that empower individuals to make critical business decisions. This role also offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of financial innovation by leveraging AI and LLM and visualization tools such as Alteryx and Tableau to revolutionize financial reporting. We are looking for individuals who are eager to understand and analyze complex issues, generate efficiencies, and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Deliver detailed financial analysis and reporting to key stakeholders, including desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting submissions, maintaining end-to-end control.
- Business Partnership & Control Implementation:
- Collaborate with business units to implement robust financial controls and support new business initiatives.
- Coordinate with front and back-office support functions to resolve control and reporting issues efficiently.
- Analytical & Project Support:
- Serve as a key analytical resource for product control, providing insights and support for various projects.
- Handle ad-hoc requests, including data analysis and investigation, to support business needs.
- Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with line of business partners and external regulatory agencies through ongoing dialogue and collaboration.
- Continuous Improvement, Learning and Career Development:
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts focused on enhancing data quality and improving financial reporting processes.

Competencies and Skills:
- Good understanding of accounting, financial statements, products and related area.
- Banking experience and some understanding of equities products are desirable but not essential.
- Strong analysis and data manipulation skills; strong Excel and/or Alteryx and Tableau skills.
- Enthusiastic self-starter; inquisitive/curious; desire to understand the 'big picture'.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Attention to detail and strong self-review of work.
- Well-organised, ability to prioritise with competing requirements and work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
