Global Digital Marketing Executive

Reporting To: Head of Digital Marketing

Location: UK (Homebased) / EU (Homebased)

The Global Digital Marketing Executive’s primary purpose is to support the creation and execution of the global digital product certification marketing plan, via the account engagement (Pardot) automation platform and across all other digital channels. The role will include the management (strategy and execution) of organic and paid social media for the product certification business division.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for the execution of all global product certification digital marketing campaigns via account engagement (Pardot) or similar platform. Execute e-marketing campaigns, including, engagement studios and email campaigns.
  • Execution of engaging and targeted content developed from an initial campaign brief, including email build, social media – organic and paid, web content/copy update. Includes sourcing all imagery and creating digital assets, such as LinkedIn banners.
  • Creation and execution of web content, template and updates to support Product Certification.
  • Manage, conduct, monitor and measure effectiveness of campaigns using keyword and content tactics to improve and optimize campaign performance.
  • Where relevant work with approved agencies/suppliers to support the delivery of campaigns.
  • Support the team with lead uploads and webinar administration where necessary.
  • Support the RS Digital Marketing team where necessary with new projects/ad hoc tasks when needed.

Key Success/Skills/Abilities:

  • Educated to degree level, in Marketing or similar, or at least two year’s working knowledge and experience in planning, managing and executing social media initiatives that span owned, earned and paid channels.
  • Strong Account Engagement (Pardot) automation skills or equivalent automation platform along with Sales Force knowledge a must.
  • Strong understanding of marketing KPIs, such as email marketing and marketing conversion metrics.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels (both verbal and written), and confident in copywriting, editing and crafting content for email marketing campaigns.
  • Familiar with setting clear campaign goals and a strong understanding of digital tracking, measurement, and reporting tools – ability to analyse digital campaigns, demonstrate actionable insight and ROI.
  • Proactive and results orientated, with the ability to balance multiple projects and spontaneous marketing opportunities that may arise.
  • Have demonstrated a “can-do” attitude and be prepared to implement tasks on time and on budget.
  • Be energetic and outgoing with the unrelenting ability to execute email marketing programmes quickly and intelligently.

Travel requirements:

  • The role holder will occasionally need to travel globally (up to 10%).

Language requirements:

  • Fluent English, additional languages are an advantage.
