Job Description:

Ipsen is advancing its digital transformation and strengthening the foundations of its Global Digital & IT (GDIT) organization. To support this ambition, we are recruiting a Global Digital IT – Performance Analyst, a pivotal role helping the GDIT function maintain strong financial control, maximize value realization, and drive operational efficiency.

This role plays a key part in ensuring transparency, predictability, and optimization of run costs across infrastructure, cloud, networks, and applications. You will act as the financial guardian of Global Digital IT operations, anticipating spending trends, identifying optimization opportunities, and enabling data-driven decision-making. You will also contribute to the governance frameworks and standards that support the smooth and compliant operation of GDIT.

Your key responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations: internal audits, invoice tracking, purchase order creation, and contract renewals/adjustments.

  • Act as the financial partner to GDIT leaders, ensuring cost governance, spend visibility, and budget adherence.

  • Work closely with Finance Controllers and Procurement to support negotiations and secure contract alignment before signature.

  • Analyse actual usage vs contracted services to identify optimization opportunities and advise technical experts during vendor discussions.

  • Monitor, forecast, and predict financial flows, providing insights to avoid cost overruns and improve cost efficiency.

  • Ensure strong financial governance by maintaining accurate data, tracking spend patterns, and recommending cost-saving levers.

Your profile & expertise

  • Experience working closely with IT teams and understanding how technical services operate (FinOps/cloud background is a strong plus).

  • Solid ability to track, forecast, and analyse financial flows in an operational/IT context.

  • Comfortable working with contracts, renewals, and vendor discussions, with strong attention to accuracy and cost control.

  • Analytical, structured, and able to take a step back to assess overall financial performance.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge and advise experts.

  • Curious, agile, and somewhat “atypical” profile—able to navigate between finance, procurement, and technical teams.

Why join Ipsen?

  • A strategic role supporting Ipsen’s digital and financial excellence.

  • High visibility across GDIT, Finance, Procurement, and vendor ecosystems.

  • Opportunity to shape FinOps culture and drive meaningful operational impact.

  • A collaborative, empowering, and international environment committed to innovation and patient impact.
