About the role

We are seeking a dComm Tech and Tools Lead to join our Global Operations team.

Operating within the Global Content Platforms team, this is an exciting opportunity for someone to own the strategy and future of our global tech and tools related to dComm

As the dComm Tech and Tools Lead you will, own the global Product Information Management, Syndication and Digital Shelf Measurement Strategy. You will also work with BU teams to drive efficiencies and deliver executional support of digital commerce global tools and processes

The role reports to the Content Production Director within the Global Operations Team.

This role is a secondment position from June 2025 to June 2026

Key responsibilities

Working closely with the local digital commerce, media, content and tech teams. This role will include:

  • Leading the commercial ownership of our Global Salsify relationship currently live in, US, Germany, UK, Canada, and the Nordics.
  • Owning and building the strategy and roadmap for PIM and Syndication through 2025+, including the architecture of Salsify, integrations and technology upgrades.
  • Providing strategic guidance and support for various markets that don’t use Salsify or are evaluating implementing a PIM. For the non-Salsify markets, the role will provide guidance and advice, but will not manage any vendor or provide day-to-day activity.
  • Overseeing and managing a group of ~8 contract workers employed by TCS, in India, that are hands-on Salsify uploading content, organizing content, building channels, syndicating content.
  • Being point business person for internal tech projects and systems that connect to Salsify & other PIMs used globally, both for ongoing business issues and implementations, but also specific projects identified to improve related processes.
  • Leading commercial ownership of our global Digital Shelf Management tool and relationship.
  • Being responsible for ongoing capability evolution and reach of the Digital Shelf Measurement tool including ownership of the roll out plans, change management, future enhancements on the roadmap and supporting Profitero and the markets with the day to day service and insights management.
  • For markets not leveraging the global solution, the role will provide guidance and advice, but will not manage the vendor or day-to-day activity – this will be done in BU.
  • Liaising with key dComm colleagues in priority markets on a regular basis to review/resolve key issues, opportunities and provide ad hoc support and advice in relation to Measurement, Management and Syndication.
  • Building capability related to dComm Tech and Tools, including but not limited to DCA module updates and Community of Practices.

Qualifications and skills

  • Experience working in dcomm across content management, syndication and measurement.
  • Experience in tech and product ways of working, including operating with a product mindset, unlocking value at pace and prioritisation.
  • Excellent at building and fostering relationships across a varied set of stakeholders globally. 
  • Experience managing successful supplier partnerships.
  • Being able to also work independently and use initiative to lead the dComm tech and tools agenda globally.
  • Budget ownership
