Global Cybersecurity Services (GCS) play a pivotal role in safeguarding State Street’s systems and data. Our mission is to protect our bank and our clients from the impact of cyber-attacks against our systems, by understanding the risks these attacks present, and mitigating them via a robust, continuously evolving, cybersecurity program and control environment.

As part of the UK & Ireland CISO team, you will support the identification, management, monitoring and reporting of the ever-evolving cybersecurity risks and related regulatory exposure. You will partner with several Business Units to provide a supportive security delivery model between the BUs and GCS.

About the Internship programme

Our 12-month Intern Programme is designed for the high potential candidates with student status, like you, into our most impactful roles preparing you for future success. From day one you will be exploring collaborative and dynamic environment company culture and you will receive:

What you will be responsible for

  • You will refine and deploy your cybersecurity skills through daily interactions with key stakeholders across the organization. These include general information and cybersecurity concepts, threats and vulnerabilities, and security operations, to name a few.

  • You will support the analysis and reporting of cybersecurity risks and controls across the organisation.

  • You will get exposure to projects of interest (stemming from a broad range of cybersecurity and resilience topics) to support your career development.

  • You will be a keen contributor to a culture of continuous improvements around the evolving cybersecurity risk management landscape.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills are a must.

  • Advanced Excel is required for this role.

  • Data analytics skills are a plus.

Please note:

  • This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days in the office located in Canary Wharf, London.
