Job Description
As a coverage banker, you will be the primary banker looking after a portfolio of Taiwan headquartered clients. You will be part of a high energy, vibrant team to further build out our successful corporate banking franchise. This would be an addition headcount thus besides managing existing clients, there shall be ample room for new client development across Taiwan mid-cap space.
Job Responsibilities:
  • You will manage a portfolio of 25 - 30 clients; acquire and develop new client relationships in addition to managing existing relationships and deepening the client wallet
  • You will have accountability for formulating and implementing account plans for the client portfolio working closely with product partners with a cross-sell strategy
  • Lead all credit related work streams and facilitate approvals from various internal Governance and Control committees
  • You will conduct comprehensive client analysis to identify business needs that can be met with JPMorgan's broad array of corporate banking products across financing solutions, capital markets, risk management, treasury and securities services and asset management.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in Corporate Banking with broad coverage experience of Taiwan Corporate sector greatly preferred
  • Experience and in-depth knowledge of flow derivatives, FX, commodities, transaction banking and securities processing
  • Well-honed organizational and time management skills
  • Credit trained and experience with structuring & execution of leveraged loans in connection with M&A, IPOs, etc.
  • Team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in both English and Cantonese language skills
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a relevant discipline
