About the role:

As the Data & Analytics Commercial Lead for the Commercial Value Stream, you will own the budget for relevant products and cost centers while driving the vision, strategy, and adoption of data, analytics, and insights solutions. This role bridges strategic planning and operational execution to deliver value at scale, ensuring global consistency while meeting local market needs.

You will be responsible for establishing and leading data and analytics product teams, defining product roadmaps, and aligning business outcomes with data-driven decision-making. Success in this role hinges on your ability to influence across a matrixed organization, deliver impactful insights, and drive the democratization of analytics through an agile, self-service ecosystem.

Role Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and own the Value Stream products' vision, roadmap, and value case.
  • Develop product strategies, features, and release plans based on business strategies, in-depth data analysis, and user needs.
  • Drive value-based prioritization, balancing customer needs, technology requirements, and total cost of ownership.
  • Align product development with business rhythms and processes to maximize adoption and value realization.

Operational Excellence

  • Lead and mentor agile teams comprising data analysts, engineers, and scrum masters.
  • Enable self-service analytics ecosystems to democratize data access across the organization.
  • Deliver data products that integrate seamlessly with business processes to drive actionable insights.
  • Manage change effectively, addressing barriers and aligning teams toward desired outcomes.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Influence stakeholders across global, regional, and local functions to align on priorities and decisions.
  • Partner with business owners to understand and prioritize data needs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Foster a culture of data storytelling to drive faster, insight-driven decisions.

Qualifications and Experience:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics, engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data product management or leading reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, LEAN, Kanban).
  • Proven experience in data warehousing, ETL, API integrations, and data governance.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in delivering data analytics products.
  • Strong technical proficiency with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView and databases such as Azure SQL Server, DataBricks.
  • Experience with cloud environments and big data technologies).
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills for engaging stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (M.A., M.S., or MBA) in a relevant field.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise data analytics and data product management.
  • Leadership experience in global, matrixed organizations, ideally within the CPG industry.
  • Expertise in advanced analytics techniques (e.g., predictive modeling, segmentation, sales forecasting).
  • Proven success in building scalable, globally relevant, and locally impactful data products.
