About the job:

An exciting opportunity to join our growing global Digital Cinema team, the GFX Producer role will have the following primary responsibilities:

  • Working both internally and with clients.
  • Planning, liaison and scheduling of all materials required, for work across feature, trailer, and downstream projects.
  • A vital part is processing and execution for our clients with Quality control, tracking and review of incoming and outgoing assets including final renders.
  • Co-ordination of content across Pixelogic facilities in London, LA and Cairo.
  • Capturing metrics and KPIs as required.
  • Other responsibilities will include involvement in testing of tools and applications, handling associated data entry related to work orders, working with all departments and providing regular feedback to the Project Team, Mastering, GFX and other supporting teams.

The ideal candidate will be expected to be highly motivated, possess a flexible attitude and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. In addition, they must be able to work as part of a team that deals with changing priorities and workloads.

The role is primarily office based.

Working Hours : 09:30-18:00 Monday – Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, QC and prepare source assets. Assistance with tracking status of deadlines on assets due.
  • Following up on expected deliveries, collects, textless, DCPs and any other supporting data
  • Data wrangling – Incoming assets and feedback to client services and 3rd party vendors on workability of assets
  • Participate in planning meetings to ensure deliverables are met on schedule.
  • Help With Project set up and checking everything is prepared and communicated once approved by team Head and Manager.
  • Assist with scheduling and prioritization for production tasks across multiple projects.
  • Liaise with graphics, production co-ordination and client services teams to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Act as a central point of contact between other DC departments and graphics
  • Deadlines – DCP delivery vs GFX render dates
  • Creating and updating project trackers. Cross checking client approvals, keeping up to date in relevant trackers to support consistency in graphics across multiple outputs
  • QC of localized graphics renders ready for Mastering Creation.
  • Track KPIs for standardized progress reports. Tracking data, metrics, time on projects
  • Identify and co-ordinate opportunities to improve efficiencies for new workflows
  • MAIN GOALS: GFX production support, quality control, clear communication, on time delivery and tracking service level metrics
Requirements
  • Strong project management skills coupled with a good understanding of graphics workflows
  • Good understanding of 2D and 3D graphics processes, applications and production processes
  • Good technical skills and basic knowledge of industry standard tools and technologies for QC of digital media
  • High level of Quality Control skills, processes and experience
  • Basic knowledge of aspect ratios, video and audio codecs, colourspace, compression
  • Familiarity and working knowledge of Digital Cinema production processes and media formats is a plus
  • Problem solver with creative and innovative approach with ability to think out of the box
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize, manage orders and work well under pressure to achieve deadlines whilst producing high quality work
  • Detail orientated with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and be a good team player
  • Ability and willingness to learn new methods, procedures, or techniques and take on new tasks
  • Passionate about quality, customer experience and customer service excellence

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Post Production environment
  • Minimum 2 years Digital Cinema experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College/University or equivalent professional experience.
