Introduction:

We are Ocado Group, and we're bringing world-class automation to online grocery. Our Ocado Smart Platform (OSP) combines cutting-edge robotics, AI, and IoT within our advanced CFCs (Customer Fulfilment Centres). We've mastered the single pick, transforming online delivery for our global partners. Join us and be part of a team pushing the boundaries of retail technology.

About the Role:

As a Last Mile Geospatial Analyst in the Global Technology Services (GTS) Analytics team, you'll use data to transform final-stage order fulfilment across the Ocado Smart Platform. You'll also champion data best practices and mentor colleagues, combining technical expertise with leadership to shape the future of last-mile operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Last Mile leadership to develop data-driven strategies for route optimisation, network planning, and customer experience.
  • Build advanced forecasting and optimisation models to improve delivery efficiency, routing, and capacity utilisation.
  • Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques to uncover actionable insights from complex delivery and customer datasets.
  • Track, analyse, and report on performance trends to identify operational bottlenecks and drive cost-saving initiatives.
  • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and self-service tools using Looker to provide stakeholders with real-time performance insights.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to integrate analytics solutions into operational workflows and inform platform enhancements.
  • Provide strategic guidance and actionable insights to international partners and strategy planners across the globe.
  • Mentor, coach, and provide constructive feedback to team members, championing analytical best practices and supporting career development.
