Job Responsibilities:
The role involves but is not limited to:-
  • Assemble and fit mechanical parts and machined components, following engineering drawings and CAD detail
  • Assemble and fit pneumatic and controls/sensor systems to assembly fixtures, robot grippers and automation based components
  • Install and integrate assembly fixtures, robot grippers and automation based components
  • Support installation of full assembly cells both at MAA during commissioning phases and also at customer when required
  • Installation: Interpreting drawings and CAD data to support fitting of robots, guarding, fixtures, services cabinets and trunking. Including laying where applicable communications and pneumatic/electrical cabling
  • Collaborate with toolmakers, fabricators, fitters and engineers including leadership team to deliver and automation, casting and improvement projects
  • Support when required Casting die fitting activities including dis-assembly and re-assembly of pipework and steels
  • Involvement in problem solving (CI) activities and development of skill to support business improvement philosophy and MAFACT requirements
  • To adhere to all Health & Safety responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
  • Participate in training sessions and development programs as and when required
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested.
