Join our New Games department at Supersonic and be a crucial part of our dynamic team as a Puzzle Level Designer. At Supersonic, we're dedicated to crafting engaging hybrid games and delivering exceptional experiences to our players. As a Level Designer at Supersonic, you'll be at the forefront of game development, contributing to the creation of world-leading mobile games that entertain and engage players on the go. You'll work within a passionate cross-functional team, driving the development and delivery of unique gaming experiences that push boundaries and captivate audiences.

What you'll be doing

  • Design and develop well-balanced, consistent, and thrilling levels that align with the game's rules and vision, while maintaining high design quality.
  • Utilize data and user feedback to iteratively refine and enhance level designs, ensuring an exceptional player experience and driving continuous improvement throughout the development process. 
  • Help establish level design standards and methodologies, contributing to the development of best practices and guidelines to streamline workflow and ensure the efficient delivery of game environments.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify potential challenges and risks, proactively addressing issues as they arise to ensure the timely and successful delivery of game content.

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrated passion for games and a deep understanding of the casual market, with a keen awareness of what constitutes a compelling gaming experience.
  • Proven experience and knowledge of level design processes for casual games, with strong paper design skills and experience translating concepts into engaging gameplay experiences.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and teams across the organization.
  • Experience working with diverse teams and stakeholders to align objectives and drive projects forward in a cohesive manner.

You might also have

  • 1+ year of experience as a Lead Level designer
  • 2+ years experience as a publisher
