What we’re looking for...
FUNKIN Cocktails are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to report to the Operations Manager and assist in all aspects of Supply Chain, with a key focus on working with retail customers & our off trade business. There will also be an aspect of supporting our D2C operation within this role.
The ideal candidate will be a team player with experience in managing complex processes within a Supply Chain environment. Knowledge of working with the main UK supermarkets is advantageous along with previous experience of working with a 3PL provider. Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills are essential to succeed in this role.
Your responsibilities will include...
- Receiving and processing daily orders from key high value retail customers
- Managing the day to day relationships with the supply chain contacts of all key retail customers
- Creating all necessary paperwork for these orders & updating supplier portals and EDI
- Managing and resolving issues that arise during the delivery of these orders
- Liaising with our third-party warehouse and various logistics providers to ensure excellent levels of service
- Working closely with the Sales Team to keep them updated on stock levels and availability for key SKU’s
- Liaising with D2C operation to make sure samples are processed & delivered in a timely manner
- Responsibility for Inventory Management – especially for key SKU’s in grocery and all stock within the D2C operation warehouse
- Manage stock levels in collaboration with the forecast and sales teams
- Assisting & supporting the rest of the Operations team where required.
What you’ll bring...
- Experience of working in a FMCG operation
- Strong understanding of how a 3PL based distribution network runs
- Very process driven - able to follow and develop key business processes to ensure audit compliance
- Able to confidently deal with contractors and customers
- A team player who can work quickly and accurately under pressure, with a keen attention to detail
- Highly organised with strong prioritisation and time management skills
- Pro-active & dynamic with the ability to use their own initiative to suggest ways to improve upon existing methods
- Knowledge of G Suite for business – including Drive, Sheets and Docs would be advantageous
- Knowledge of the Tropos/Epicor ERP system would be extremely advantageous
- Excellent oral, written & interpersonal communication skills
