Join us as a Funds Financing Vice President
- We’ll look to you to propose ideas and structures for risk and capital management consideration in order to deliver Subscription Line, Hybrids and GP financing products to NatWest Markets clients
- You’ll develop new structures, products, and business opportunities in line with NatWest Markets risk appetite
- You’ll be responsible for structuring and executing a variety of funds lending products for sponsor customers across our Funds Franchise
What you'll do
As a Funds Financing Vice President, you’ll structure and execute funds financing transactions, managing the deal execution process from start to finish. Working with clients, client-facing teams, Trading, Commercial Banking, and other NatWest functions, you’ll review and negotiate term sheets and legal documentation, working directly with clients and external legal counsel.
In addition to this, you’ll be responsible for:
- Analysing and assessing transactions, specifically in relation to credit and structural risks, as well as quantitative analysis and stress-testing
- Structuring and executing revolving credit and term loan facilities with a particular focus on subscription, hybrid, or general partner facilities
- Analysing and reviewing potential transactions including structural risks and return profiles
- Supporting customer facing teams by providing product knowledge, marketing materials, and ideas to aid customer origination
- Developing new structures, products, and business opportunities to innovate in accordance with market developments and support evolving customer needs
The skills you'll need
We’re looking for someone with extensive experience in a funds financing structuring or legal role, specifically working on subscription lines.
We’re also looking for:
- Strong analytical, technical, and time management capabilities
- Several years of dedicated Funds Finance structuring experience
- Familiarity with legal documents such as LMA and LSTA, experience negotiating commercial and risk provisions, and a sound comprehension for specific legal matters
- Robust Excel and broader Microsoft Office skills
