About the Role
iCapital is looking to hire a Vice President to focus on managing our relationships with the Fund Administrator service providers of the company’s largest Asset and Wealth Management clients. As part of iCapital’s International Product Development team, this new role will be supporting our continued global expansion. This position will play a key role in assisting with the management, development, and maintenance of our current third-party partnerships, including transfer agents and fund administrators, and will work closely with other team members and functions to broaden and deepen these key business relationships.
This is a critical, technical role for which relevant experience is required, focused on the delivery and ongoing support of iCapital’s full suite of technology and servicing solutions across jurisdictions. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing our company’s strategy in establishing strategic partnerships that extend access to and further embed iCapital and its solutions as part of the Alternative Fund and Wealth Management ecosystems.
Responsibilities
- Create a strategic business plan for operational coverage of our largest service providers and partners including transfer agents and administrators.
- Identify, prioritise and execute on business opportunities for collaboration across the service provider landscape.
- Serve as senior relationship stakeholder for the management of these relationships and integration and execution of partnership proposals.
- Develop and maintain successful working relationships with senior leaders throughout the organisation and promote mutually beneficial relationships.
- Collaborate with all appropriate parties to ensure effective execution of goals and initiatives.
- Collaborate with management to determine internal and external vendor reporting requirements and enforce the delivery of accurate and timely information.
- Where relevant, organise in-person quarterly meetings with partners to review the relationship status, address any current material issues, and discuss business updates and progress opportunities on both sides.
Candidate Profile
- Detailed knowledge of the European/global alternative fund administrator function, operational processes and industry regulatory landscape.
- 8+ years of experience in an administrator, likely to be in business development or relationship management capacity.
- Strong commercial knowledge of industry standards and the competitive process.
- Bring existing relationships and ability to build strong relationships.
- Demonstrated project management and strong detail-orientation.
- Excellent presentation and verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated capabilities to build trust, and strategically manage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Entrepreneurial approach to managing projects with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; able to create simple, compelling narratives for senior audience.
- Highly collaborative, experience working within a matrix global organization, managing and coordinating teams across different locations.
- Positive attitude and strong appetite to work in a fast growing, entrepreneurial environment.
- Self-motivated with a hands-on attitude and steered by high ethical standards.
- Fluency in English required, other languages a positive.
