We’re looking for a talented Front-End Developer to join our Digital Marketing team. The Digital Marketing team at Anaconda powers how the world discovers and understands our mission to make open-source data science and AI accessible to everyone. We build and maintain web properties that serve millions of developers, data scientists, and enterprise customers — and we move fast, share work early, and hold ourselves accountable to measurable outcomes.
As part of the Digital Marketing team, you’ll own front-end implementation across our WordPress ecosystem, building fast, accessible, conversion-driven experiences. You already use AI coding tools as part of how you work — not as an experiment, but as a daily practice for writing, debugging, and shipping production code. You’ll bring a portfolio of AI-assisted work you’ve shipped, and you’ll partner closely with designers, content teams, and our backend developer to deliver cohesive web experiences.
What You'll Do:
- Build responsive, accessible front-end solutions across our WordPress ecosystem using modern JavaScript frameworks — applying AI coding tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor, or similar) to prototype, generate and refine components, write tests, and debug as a standard part of your daily workflow.
- Transform design concepts into performant, pixel-precise implementations, building reusable component systems that scale across properties while optimizing Core Web Vitals and upholding WCAG accessibility standards.
- Partner with content creators and marketers to build flexible, maintainable systems for rapid content deployment, including custom WordPress blocks and page-building tools that empower non-technical users.
- Serve as the front-end voice in design and cross-functional discussions, validating technical feasibility early, maintaining design system consistency, and implementing analytics integrations and user behavior tracking across web properties.
- Identify and address risks related to performance, security, scalability, and code maintainability — improving team delivery through better systems, repeatable workflows, and documented front-end practices.
- Experiment with AI-powered approaches to front-end delivery — including personalization, dynamic content, and automation — and share findings with the team to continuously raise development quality.
Your impact will be measured through:
- Improvements in Core Web Vitals scores and site performance metrics
- User engagement and conversion outcomes across key web properties
- Development velocity and quality of front-end deliverables
- Marketing team productivity enabled by CMS tools and content systems
- Quality and adoption of internal front-end documentation and practices
- 3+ years of web development experience with demonstrated expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React
- Demonstrated use of AI coding tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor, or similar) to write, debug, and ship code for public-facing websites, with a portfolio of AI-assisted work you can speak to
- Experience with WordPress development including custom themes, plugins, and content management workflows
- Proficiency in responsive design, web accessibility standards (WCAG), and modern front-end build tools
- Experience with Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and multi-environment architecture
- Demonstrated ability to identify and communicate technical risks related to performance, security, or scalability

- Experience with A/B testing tools and conversion rate optimization applied to marketing or product web properties
- Experience with WordPress and Elementor, including AI-powered personalization and dynamic content serving
- Experience with design systems, component library development, and translating Figma mockups into production-ready implementations
- Familiarity with analytics platforms and user behavior tracking (HEAP, Omni) and experience implementing front-end data pipelines or user segmentation logic
- Experience working in an open-source, AI, or data science-oriented company, with familiarity serving technical and developer-focused audiences
