The Full Stack Engineer will build and enhance various modules for Digital Cafés, improve the WAY2PAY API, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure deliverables meet quality assurance standards. The role involves collaborating with Product and QA teams, participating in Agile practices, and providing support to junior developers.

Responsibilities:
- Build and enhance modules, such as the Heartbeat Action Flags module and the Opening Hours Management module for Digital Cafés.
- Make improvements and fulfill feature requests for the WAY2PAY API to ensure its robustness and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, such as those related to device code for the Self-Order Kiosk.
- Participate actively in Agile scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Take accountability for the completion of allocated sprint deliverables within a reasonable timeframe.
- Handle more complex work items that span large parts of the system, with the expectation of quickly adapting and delivering results.
- Collaborate closely with the Product and QA teams to ensure that:
- Work aligns with technical specifications and user stories.
- Deliverables meet quality assurance standards and function as intended.
- Provide guidance and support to junior developers, assisting in their upskilling when opportunities arise.
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in .NET, including hands-on development and maintenance of applications.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, including their design, development, and integration.
- Proficiency in MVC architecture and the web development trio—HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Database Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL (Transact-SQL) for database design, querying, and optimization.
- Familiarity with Agile practices and experience working in a scrum team.
- Undergraduate certificate in computer science or equivalent, including a year of industry experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in the context of payment systems and reporting.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and resolve issues efficiently.
- Be located in proximity of Nottingham. (This is a hybrid role. Candidate will be expected to work from the office on a number of weekdays as per company policy.)
