What you will do:
Build and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Ruby on Rails, Python, and FastAPI to power the core insurance engine.
Design and implement seamless integration flows for major e-commerce platforms like Shopify, BigCommerce, and Magento used daily by retailers.
Manage scalable infrastructure as code using Terraform and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure high reliability and security standards.
The ideal candidate:
2+ years of commercial experience with strong production-level knowledge of Ruby on Rails or Python and full-stack development principles.
Proven track record of building and maintaining complex APIs and third-party integrations, ideally within the Shopify ecosystem or transactional environments.
A high-ownership professional who thrives in fast-paced startup settings and prioritizes clean, tested code and proactive problem-solving.
