Senior Front Office Developer
Intro

We have a great opportunity for a Senior Front Office Developer to join our Investments and Fiduciary Technology Software Development team on a permanent basis, based in the London office (hybrid working).

The role

The core purpose of the Senior Front Office Developer role is to define, develop and support the systems needed by the Investment and Fiduciary teams.

You will lead the efforts in designing and developing high quality, bespoke front office solutions to aid the investment business. Providing robust platforms, which are fit for purpose and bringing new ideas and concepts to the table.

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.

The person

We are looking for a talented Senior Front Office Developer to join our team. You’ll bring significant transferable, broad spectrum experience, alongside one or more specialist areas. In practice this means full stack development expertise with SQL, Azure and C#.  Python or Angular would also be desirable.

You’re accustomed to being a technical Subject Matter Expert and know the right questions to ask to resolve ambiguities and uncertainty. Accustomed to taking a lead role in project meetings and discussions with stakeholders, you use your knowledge of the latest technologies to offer solutions, whether designing a new architecture or developing fixes for an existing system.

We are looking for you to have excellent communication skills, which you’ll put into practice across project activity, mentoring junior colleagues and sharing your expertise with the wider business You’ll work collaboratively with stakeholders, and autonomously take the lead on running significant projects. The role doesn’t have formal people management accountability, but we will be looking to you to contribute to others development and share your technical expertise widely.
