Front Office Analyst Programmer
This is a great job for someone who has demonstrable experience as an analyst/programmer within the asset management (buy-side) industry.
A bit about the job:
This role is for a front office-facing analyst/full-stack analyst-programmer. Candidates must be self-reliant, resourceful, and possess initiative and drive. They should be able to work well within a close team but also operate independently when required. The ideal candidate should be ready to openly share and discuss ideas and fresh perspectives. The candidate should be "bi-lingual," meaning they need to speak the language of both technology and business. To be credible in both environments, they must have the required IT and business skills. Excellent communication skills are necessary to interact with both environments. Any documentation they produce must be clear, consistent, complete, and of a high standard without any ambiguity. Projects will often start from a blank sheet of paper, so strong analytical and design skills are key to this role.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:

Thorough knowledge of Python, VBA (Excel), C# (Visual Studio), and MS SQL is essential

Excellent communication skills

Industry specific knowledge: Strong demonstration of the end to end Investment Management Process, with particular focus on the Front Office (Portfolio

Strong asset and product knowledge (instruments/funds/fund structures/pricing etc), including the use of Derivatives and hedging strategies

Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 tools, including PowerApps for creating custom business applications, Flow for automating workflows, and PowerBI for data visualization and reporting.
