Job Description

**Front of House Manager Responsibilities:** - Act as an ambassador of the brand and the property, embodying our values and service standards at all times - Provide strategic leadership to the Front of House team, fostering an engaged, motivated workforce committed to excellence - Drive exceptional guest satisfaction through the implementation of service standards and by leading by example

  • Deliver strong operating results and contribute to the achievement of departmental and property-wide financial targets - Assume full responsibility for the Night operation of the department, ensuring seamless service delivery during all hours - Maintain rigorous compliance with Company standards, policies, and procedures across all Front of House operations
  • Recruit, induct, train, and develop team members to ensure they possess the skills and knowledge required for their roles - Manage staff scheduling and resource planning to optimise operational efficiency and guest service levels - Oversee guest relations and complaint resolution, ensuring all concerns are addressed professionally and promptly
  • Implement and monitor health, safety, and security protocols to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff - Conduct regular team briefings and performance reviews to maintain high standards and support continuous improvement - Liaise effectively with other departments to ensure coordinated service delivery and operational synergy - Prepare and present regular reports on departmental performance, staffing, and key metrics to senior management

Qualifications

**Front of House Manager Qualifications:** **Required Qualifications:** - Proven experience in a Front of House management role, or a successful track record in a similar hospitality position demonstrating readiness to step up into a management capacity

  • Demonstrated expertise in Opera Cloud or similar property management systems, with the ability to champion training and support other team members in system utilisation - Strong leadership and team management experience, with a proven ability to motivate and develop staff - Excellent customer service orientation with a track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Solid understanding of financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimisation - Knowledge of health, safety, and security compliance requirements within the hospitality sector - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across departments - Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities **Preferred Qualifications:**
  • Hospitality management qualification or relevant professional certification - Experience managing night operations or shift-based teams - Proficiency with additional hospitality technology platforms and systems - Experience in performance management and staff appraisals - Knowledge of rostering and resource planning best practices
