Overview
Join Bobsled as a Frontend Engineer for an exciting 3-6 month fully-remote contract opportunity! We're looking for a passionate developer to craft exceptional user experiences using modern technologies like React, Remix, Material UI and TypeScript. You'll play a key role in building our innovative cross-cloud data sharing platform that's transforming how businesses collaborate.
What You'll Do
- Build beautiful, responsive web applications using our React + Remix stack
- Create seamless real-time experiences with Firebase integrations
- Drive technical decisions and best practices for frontend architecture
- Write robust, well-tested code that scales
- Collaborate with our remote-first team to ship features fast
What You'll Need
- 4+ years of frontend development experience, with a focus on React ecosystems, building/contributing to design systems in SaaS application with a strong collaboration with designers
- Strong TypeScript skills and experience with modern React patterns
- Used Figma (or any equivalent tool) to build components/flows from specs
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Testing Library) and CI/CD workflows
- Sharp eye for performance optimization and debugging
- An eye for accessibility and delightful UI animations
- Excellence in async communication and documentation
- Bonus: Experience using Material UI components
- Bonus: Experience with serverless architectures and cloud platforms
- Bonus: Proven track record building production applications with Firebase

- Portfolio with live code/interactions and, ideally, access to the repo/code
