About Our Project Management Craft

Our Project Management Craft brings structure and momentum to complex work. The team plans, coordinates, and tracks delivery across disciplines. They ensure projects stay on time, on scope, and on budget. Their work enables collaboration and efficiency.

As a Freelance Senior Project Manager, this role manages integrated client projects from planning through delivery, partnering closely with Client Services and cross-functional discipline leads. The position provides hands-on ownership of scope, timelines, budgets, resourcing, and project reporting across concurrent work streams. The role contributes immediately to active healthcare and pharmaceutical client work while helping teams maintain clear, consistent delivery standards.

What You’ll Do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, concurrent client projects using tools such as Smartsheet, JIRA, or Microsoft Project, maintaining clear schedules, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Partner with Client Services and cross-functional discipline leads to translate client requirements into defined scopes, timelines, responsibilities, and delivery plans.
• Manage project scope, budgets, forecasts, timelines, and resource plans, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions throughout delivery.
• Identify project risks, dependencies, and delivery issues early, escalating clearly and providing actionable status reporting to client and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate distributed project teams across disciplines and locations, maintaining delivery standards and supporting projects through both waterfall and agile workflows.

Required:

• 7+ years of project management experience, including hands-on ownership of complex, concurrent projects or integrated work streams within an agency or consulting environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing project scope, budgets, forecasts, timelines, and resource plans across multiple simultaneous client deliverables.
• Experience delivering work for healthcare or pharmaceutical clients within an agency environment, with direct exposure to client-facing project delivery.
• Experience partnering with Client Services and cross-functional teams, with evidence of managing dependencies, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations through project completion.
• Hands-on proficiency with project management platforms such as Smartsheet, JIRA, or Microsoft Project, demonstrated through ownership of schedules, reporting, resource plans, or delivery workflows.
• Experience applying both waterfall and agile approaches across multidisciplinary project teams and adapting delivery methods to project requirements.

• Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done.
• Experience coordinating project teams operating across multiple locations or time zones.
• Experience presenting project status, risks, budget considerations, and recommended actions to senior internal stakeholders or clients.
• Experience supporting organisational change or evolving delivery processes within agency, consulting, or client-service environments.
• Working knowledge of SCRUM practices demonstrated through participation in or coordination of agile delivery teams.
• Experience producing portfolio, project, or financial reporting to support delivery and operational decision-making.
