We’re looking for an experienced, strategic, and data-led Site Manager to lead the next stage of growth for Freebets.com – one of the UK’s most recognised sports betting affiliate websites.

In this role, you'll lead the content, SEO, and brand strategy for Freebets.com – ensuring it becomes a household name among sports bettors and the go-to resource for trusted, expert-led advice on where to bet. You'll work cross-functionally across CRO, Product, Design, PR, Social, and Email teams to grow authority, relevance, and conversion across all user touchpoints.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and evolve the site vision and roadmap – driving performance across content, SEO, and brand.
  • Build Freebets.com into a trusted, recognisable brand in the sports betting space through thoughtful, helpful, and expert-driven content experiences.
  • Deliver high-impact SEO strategies that scale internationally and adapt to changing SERP dynamics and user intent.
  • Lead data-led decisions – analysing performance, identifying opportunities, and adapting tactics to grow traffic, engagement, and revenue.
  • Collaborate with PR, Social, and Email teams to amplify the brand, ensuring a consistent tone of voice and presence across channels.
  • Work hand-in-hand with Product, Design, and CRO teams to improve user journeys, test new ideas, and deliver a seamless, high-converting experience.
  • Champion quality, trust, and authority – ensuring all content meets high editorial standards and Google’s E-E-A-T guidelines while also setting Freebets.com apart from the competition with original, insightful, and user-first experiences.
  • Develop site monetisation strategies – including promotional content, call-to-actions, and campaign planning with commercial teams.
  • Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing team across editorial, SEO, and content production.
  • Play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a major affiliate brand with strong foundations and global ambitions.
  • Join a high-calibre team of specialists in content, SEO, design, PR, and product – all focused on innovation and growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior content or SEO leadership role at a top affiliate, publisher, or betting brand.
  • A brand-builder’s mindset and track record – demonstrating the creativity and executional skills that transform a content site into a trusted consumer destination.
  • A track record of delivering significant YoY organic traffic and conversion growth.
  • Deep knowledge of Google's organic ecosystem, affiliate models, and the content strategies that move the needle.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with commercial, creative, tech, and performance marketing teams.
  • Strong understanding of sports and betting audiences – from casual bettors to high-intent players.
  • Comfort working with data tools and analytics platforms (GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush etc.), and translating insights into action.
  • A team-first, results-driven approach with strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management abilities.
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.

Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience preferably in the gambling, betting, or gaming industry.
