The Job

At Flo Health, our international finance team is crucial to our success, combining operational efficiency with strategic insight. We handle compliance, provide insightful management reporting, and conduct thorough financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. We manage our treasury and investor relations, set strong financial controls, and oversee various essential operational processes. 
Strategically, we act as true business partners, advising decision-makers on setting business priorities. Our approach ensures we not only maintain our financial health but also drive Flo Health's overall success.

We’re looking for an experienced FP&A Manager to join our FP&A team at a really exciting time for Flo as we're growing. In this role, you will be responsible for forecasting and managing budgets for the whole cost side of the business (OPEX and Headcount), as well as business partnering all departments. 

Your Experience

Must have:

  • 3+ years of experience in FP&A;
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA);
  • Advanced/experienced user in Excel and Google Sheets;
  • High level of understanding of P&L categories and working capital behaviours;
  • A keen eye for detail, with high levels of instinct and intuition;
  • Inquisitive at heart, with the ability to enable and challenge where necessary;
  • Strong analytical and robust model-building skills;
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple teams to obtain numerous sources of information;
  • Calm under pressure and well-organised when managing simultaneous tasks;
  • Confident communicator to financial and non-financially minded stakeholders.

Nice to have:

  • Wide experience using FP&A planning tools such as Pigment / Hyperion / Adaptive etc.

What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for:

  • Business partnering all department stakeholders by forming strong relationships, driving visibility and managing their overall budgets and KPIs;
  • Owning headcount budget operations, including pipeline management and the flow of information;
  • Variance analysis, understanding all drivers of movements and guiding business owners through any financial challenges with next-best-action;
  • Monthly rolling forecasting and continuous financial balancing;
  • Gaining a deep understanding of our cost-base mechanics and recommending future growth trends based on relevant drivers;
  • Developing FP&A system to suit ever-changing environment and needs;
  • Business collaboration and evaluation of business investment proposals;
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.

Salary Range - per year

£65,000£75,000 GBP

Salary ranges may vary depending on your skills, competencies and experience.
