FP&A Manager functions as finance business partner to VP South EMEA to improve financial performance of business profitability and operation efficiency. 

  • Partner closely with commercial teams on business planning & analytical activities to ensure accurate and timely financial forecasts. 
  • As member of the South EMEA Region Leadership Team, provide value-added business analysis and financial insights to guide fact-based and data-driven decision making.
  • Responsible for financial performance management of the South EMEA region and support the business to achieve strategic financial objectives, in P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow generation.  
  • Support the Commercial VP to set up sustainable strategy and business plan to drive Sales and OIBT profitable growth at cluster/country level across the P&Ls.
  • Provide guidance and direction to clusters/countries on overall financial objectives and ensure proper execution plan in place. Play a key role in defining spending requirements for the business and manage implementation of these requirements.
  • Actively participate in pricing governance and initiatives for portfolio and big tenders to ensure overall financial results of embecta.
  • Manage and conduct hands-on financial planning activities, including monthly forecast, quarterly forecast, Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Rang Plan (LRP) to ensure accurate and timely forecast.
  • Provide in-depth variance analysis, trend analysis and benchmark analysis and ensure understanding of business financial performance across the clusters/countries and regions.
  • Provide actionable insights on business drivers, dynamics and impacts, identify opportunities, challenges and issues and communicate with management. Proactively provide solution to support business growth and financial performance improvement.
  • Advise business management on business improvement opportunities and follow up with improvement initiatives implementation through performance indicator measurement.
  • Perform investment assessment for growth initiatives through financial modeling and business case formulation. Foster fact-based and data-driven decision making process in the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with Commercial Excellence team to govern market model and revenue model, challenge assumptions and validate scenarios. Leverage their data analytics for business performance management.
  • Support commercial VP on business reviews with the clusters/countries and reviews by upper-management.
  • Communicate with EMEA and International Finance on Region business and financial performance on a regular basis and fulfil all related information requests.
  • Work closely with regional controllers to perform all necessary monthly closing activities to ensure complete, accurate and compliant financial reports.
  • Master knowledge in products, therapies and specifics of the geographical market context through commitment to continuous learning.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of Finance experience
  • SAP S/4 HANA experience highly desirable
  • English level C1 or Native
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills and ability to present high level Power Point presentations to tell the story.
