ESBO (European Service Business Organisation) is responsible for identifying, evaluating and determining new opportunities within the digital media and advertising industry with the goal of crafting scalable services and businesses on top of the global footprint of European Samsung Smart TVs and Mobiles. The ESBO team is working to build value for partners, advertisers, and agencies through its outstanding insights into TV viewership in the shifting media landscape.
We’re looking for a driven, collaborative and forward thinking person to join our ESBO Finance Team! In this role, you will be the finance partner and trusted adviser to our business, ensuring that the drivers of performance are well understood, and providing your business partners with actionable insights. The role will sit in the FP&A function within the centralised ESBO finance team.

Role and Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities

  • Support monthly reporting & forecasting for costs and revenue by working alongside internal collaborators, consolidating the data and undertaking variance analysis.

  • Return on investment assessment and ability to influence productivity through cost related initiatives

  • Implementing solutions, framework and guidance for new business streams

  • Develop and report on key operational KPI’s driving efficiency and productivity.

  • Own and drive revenue and budget discussions ESBO wide.

  • Support annual budget planning process across multiple business divisions.

  • Coordinate month end billing and reconciliation processes,

  • Business partner with Internal finance teams and head office to ensure alignment.

  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.

What we need for this role

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Proven experience in FP&A, business partnering, Finance or related field

  • Attention to detail, ability to multitask and strong social skills required.

  • Must be task driven & have the ability to produce and hit key deliverable deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Advanced Excel skills are required,

  • Experience working with Salesforce/SAP/Statistical analysis tools- a plus

  • SQL skills – a plus

  • Familiarity with media, TV measurement - a plus

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to dive deep into data, existing processes,

  • Good project management skills with ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks across various user groups and being able to present the manager with viable options

  • Ability to draw information from various sources, including people

  • Demonstrate resilience, dealing with demands of challenges and changing priorities, learning from experience and taking positive action with a positive attitude

  • Reliable and trustworthy and willingness to explore and do new things

What does success look like?

  • Experience evaluating, analysing and crafting significant business reporting

  • Ability to develop strategic relationships with your finance and business partners. You can root cause issues quickly and uncover core issues using data, then assist, collaborate with, and guide the teams how decisions affect efficiency, scalability, costs and build new mechanisms as they are needed

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity & provide guidance during unexpected events
