Come join us at Thredd as our FP & A Senior Data Analyst based in our London office. As key member of our Finance team, you will lead the design, development and automation of a centralised data warehouse to unify all our business systems data.
Using your expertise in Power Bi and Tableau,  you will build scalable reporting solutions that drive cost synergies through automation. As our Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial dashboards and manage a client database, as well as supporting revenue forecasting and financial reporting during periods of increased business activity and critical reporting windows.
You’ll be passionate about AI, focussing on driving the implementation within the finance function. Collaborating closely with the Data & AI team, you will identify opportunities and champion the adoption of AI-driven solutions to enhance financial processes.
What you’ll be doing

  • Train and support finance teams on self-service analytics tools, data interpretation, and the adoption of AI tools, Power BI, and related methodologies.
  • Track and analyse financial KPIs against industry standards and internal targets to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with the Data & AI and Business Re-Engineering Teams to develop and implement an AI strategy for the finance function, focusing on predictive analytics, automation, and enhanced decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI/Tableau dashboards to provide real-time financial insights across P&L, cash flow, balance sheet, headcount, and more.
  • Build user-friendly tools that enable stakeholders to generate ad-hoc reports independently, reducing reliance on IT.
  • Support revenue forecasting and reporting by stepping in during critical business periods to ensure continuity and accuracy.
  • Own the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive client-level database that integrates data from all business areas.
  • Investigate data anomalies (such as revenue dips or cost overruns), cleanse and validate datasets, and propose effective solutions.
  • Architect and implement a centralised data warehouse integrating data from systems like Snowflake, Salesforce, BambooHR, NetSuite, and others, while automating data pipelines and replacing manual processes to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with financial regulations (e.g., SOX, GDPR), maintain audit trails, and create detailed technical documentation for all data processes and system integrations.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or related field
  • Strong experience in data analysis and finance systems—you’re comfortable working with financial data and understand how different systems interact.
  • Advanced skills in SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and Python or R, plus familiarity with AI and machine learning frameworks.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (such as NetSuite), ETL tools, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) at an intermediate level.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in simple terms for non-technical colleagues, along with solid project management skills.
  • Experience collaborating on AI and machine learning projects to improve predictive forecasting for revenue, expenses, and other key financial metrics.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for teams such as FP&A, Accounting, Client Billing, and Treasury.
  • Ensure data architecture aligns with organisational security and scalability requirements.
