The FP&A Manager will build financial models, forecast, analyze cost structures, implement AI tools, and partner with leaders to drive decision-making.
Financial Planning and Analysis Manager
At Readymode, we believe the best finance teams don't just report on the business. They help shape it. We're looking for an FP&A Manager who's energized by that challenge: someone who's equally at home building a three-statement model as they are experimenting with AI tools to make the whole function sharper and faster.
This is a seat at the table, not a back-office role. You'll report directly to our CFO and work across every part of the business.
What You'll Own
- Build and maintain Readymode's long-range financial models and own our forecasting cadence, pushing us from descriptive finance toward predictive finance
- Use AI tools (LLM-assisted formula logic, automated data extraction, forecasting plug-ins) to increase accuracy and reduce cycle time
- Partner with functional leaders to help them understand their cost drivers and make smarter decisions
- Analyze how our cost structure behaves as we scale, and identify where automation keeps us lean and high-output
- Design dashboards and reporting that executives use and rely on, with the goal of enabling plain-language financial queries
- Lead the evaluation and rollout of tools that reduce manual spreadsheet hours by 20–30% in your first year
Who You Are
- 5–8 years in FP&A or Corporate Finance, with meaningful time in SaaS
- You understand ARR, LTV, and CAC as the building blocks of a business model, not just acronyms, and can connect them to all three financial statements
- Genuinely excited about AI in finance: you've already used LLMs to speed up analysis, debug formulas, draft commentary, or automate something that used to take hours
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills, including scripts, API connections, and AI extensions
- A skilled communicator who can challenge a VP's assumptions with data and bring them along to new workflows, without losing the relationship
- A builder's mentality: you want to design the modern finance stack, not inherit a legacy one
What We're Looking For
- 5–8 years in FP&A or Corporate Finance, with a heavy SaaS emphasis
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve financial workflows (a portfolio or examples will go a long way)
- Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
Why Readymode?
- Profitable and growing: we're a bootstrapped SaaS scaleup that has built a real business without outside funding, which means the decisions you make here actually matter
- Build something that lasts: an opportunity to shape something and innovate
- Partner with the CFO: direct access and genuine influence on the strategic direction of the business
- Clarity and structure: we run on EOS, clear priorities, defined accountability, and no ambiguity about what success looks like
- Talented team: work with driven people who value execution and results
- Competitive package: strong compensation, benefits from day 1, RRSP matching, and a learning budget to keep growing
