The Mission: Why We Exist

Genomics is a science-led transatlantic TechBio combining large-scale genetic and health data with proprietary analytics to accelerate drug discovery and advance predictive, preventative healthcare. We are united by a single vision to help people live longer, healthier lives, using the power of genomics.

Genomics aims to help people live longer, healthier lives in two ways: super-charging drug discovery and development for novel treatments with our AI-enabled advanced genetic analytics platform, and by helping people understand their personal risk of common chronic diseases through polygenic risk scores - giving doctors and health systems the chance to get the right people into the right prevention, screening and treatment programmes at the right time.

Role Purpose

Sitting at the intersection of finance, commercial operations and project delivery, our FP&A Analyst keeps the engine of our project-based services business turning. It is an excellent next step for a commercially minded, part-qualified finance professional with project consultancy experience who wants to deepen their business partnering exposure inside a purpose-driven healthcare and life sciences company.

You will build and refine pricing models that shape live sales proposals, then pull complex data from across the business into a single, reliable version of the truth. You will own resource utilisation tracking — making sure projects are properly staffed and profitable — reconcile timesheets, support WIP and month-end accruals, and step into customer-facing conversations to translate the numbers into commercial narratives.

Who you are
  • Part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) actively studying — a relevant BSc or MSc also considered

  • Commercial finance, FP&A or analyst experience within a project consultancy or professional services environment

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insight

  • Hands-on with timesheet collation, utilisation reporting or project cost tracking

  • Confident across budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis

  • Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets — modelling, pivot tables and data manipulation

  • An excellent communicator who builds effective relationships at every level
