The Role

The FP&A team in London is looking to recruit an FP&A Analyst to support the business in its continued work toward growth, through both organic and inorganic means. We are looking for someone who can support the business in all things FP&A. This is a group-wide role and therefore presents a unique opportunity for you to see and influence the full picture regarding our performance.

Reporting to our Head of FP&A, working with the FP&A and finance teams, and the wider business including the investors, executive leadership team and senior managers, the FP&A team drives value through accurate reporting, financial planning and supporting the business to ensure its growth is managed and measured. Our success is in our ability to be predictable – which is our mission here at ITRS FP&A.

The team work in the office 3 days per week and 2 days from home.

As FP&A Analyst, you will:
  • Monthly KPI's and Board reporting, prepare monthly KPI's schedules, and preparation of board materials.
  • Company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and planning, work with the FP&A team and the business, in overseeing and contributing to planning processes for the group.
  • Developing, improving, and maintaining excellent management information, providing fresh insight, highlighting risks and opportunities in a meaningful manner and constructively challenging results.
  • Driving process improvement and increasing efficiencies in the way we work, looking for opportunities to add value. Engaging with the wider team and driving collaboration between departments to deliver positive change, striving for best practice.
  • Own initiatives to improve data quality at source, working closely with Financial Accounting to identify root causes, streamline processes, and enhance the integrity of financial data.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, translating financial data into meaningful information, and ensuring financial information needs are met.
  • Lead monthly variance analysis across the cost base, strengthening modelling capability and translating insights into actionable recommendations to drive cost discipline and value creation.
  • Analyse complex financial data and reports, and to provide accurate financial recommendations including business cases.

Requirements
  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA part-qualified
  • Financial Modelling and Excel skills, and PowerPoint such as preparing management decks
  • Experience in technology and SaaS space is preferable
  • Experience working with high volumes and complex data
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience communicating analytical findings for a range of different audiences and confidence to communicate with senior leadership.
  • A naturally curious thinker with a deep desire to understand and solve complex issues
  • High organisational skills and ability to juggle and prioritise tasks
