About Seapoint
Seapoint is building the financial home for European startups and scale-ups. We're an AI-powered business account that handles everything from payroll and expenses to invoice payments and reporting — all in one place.
Founded by Sean Mullaney (former European CIO at Stripe) and a team of alumni from Stripe, Wise, Wayflyer, Nubank and Tide, we've just raised $3 million in pre-seed funding led by Frontline Ventures. After nine months of building, we're now in private beta with dozens of VC-backed startups who are finally getting the bird's-eye view of their finances they've always needed.
The problem we're solving is real: European startups are stuck between neobanks (too small) and traditional corporate banking (too big). They're juggling 4–6 different financial products, running processes manually, and earning no interest on cash deposits. We're changing that with AI automation that handles the tedious financial work — so founders can focus on building their businesses instead of managing spreadsheets.

About the role
The best marketers right now aren't doing more. They're operating at a different level, using AI to compress timelines, run more experiments, and produce work that would have taken a team of five just two years ago. That's the kind of marketer we're looking for.
We're hiring a Founding Product Marketer who will define how Seapoint's product is positioned, messaged, and brought to market, and who uses content as a core tool for doing that. You'll be the connective tissue between product, sales, and the market: making sure what we build gets communicated with clarity, that our GTM motion is sharp, and that our content reinforces a product narrative people trust.
You'll work directly with the founding team, with a strong foundation already in place: an existing content strategy with early community traction, a product with clear PMF, and a GTM motion that's starting to scale.
What you'll actually do
- Own product positioning and messaging. Work closely with Sean and the product team to develop and maintain crisp positioning for Seapoint, translating complex product capabilities into narratives that resonate with founders and operators
- Run product launches end-to-end. Build and own the launch playbook: from beta announcements to full rollouts, coordinating across product, sales, and content to make every release land
- Use content as a product marketing lever. Build on our existing content strategy to create material that reinforces our product narrative: thought leadership, founder-facing education, and category-defining content that makes Seapoint the obvious choice
- Partner with the team to build things founders love. Work with engineering and sales to create tools, calculators, or resources that deliver standalone value to founders and drive inbound organically
- Enable the GTM team. Develop sales decks, one-pagers, battle cards, and partner materials that are sharp, current, and written to convert
- Run a high-velocity experiment programme. Use AI and automation to spin up experiments quickly across channels, kill what doesn't work, and double down on what does
- Set the marketing foundation. Brand voice, messaging frameworks, channel strategy, and metrics that matter, built to scale rather than just tick boxes
Requirements
What we're looking for
- You have deep product marketing experience. You've owned positioning, messaging, and launches for a B2B product and know how to make a product story land in a competitive market
- You use content strategically, not as an afterthought. You understand how thought leadership, education, and narrative-building connect back to product growth
- You're genuinely AI-native, not just AI-aware. You use tools like Claude, Perplexity, and whatever's shipping this week to move faster and think more clearly, and you have high standards for the output. No slop
- You've shipped things that worked in 0→1 environments and know the difference between building for scale and building for now
- You're a strong writer with a clear point of view. You can write a positioning doc and a LinkedIn post and they both sound like a real person
- You bring experience in B2B SaaS or fintech and understand what it takes to build credibility in a competitive, trust-sensitive category
- You're an experimentation native. You design tests with intent, read the results honestly, and iterate without ego
- You're excited by the idea of building tools and resources alongside engineers, not just publishing content
Bonus if you're familiar with how modern marketing leaders like Emily Kramer think about the discipline. We're building a marketing function in that mould.
