Tracebit is helping some of the world’s best security teams at Snyk, Docker, Riot Games and many more to ‘assume breach’ at scale. Tracebit detects intrusions in cloud environments using canaries - decoy assets deployed to deceive attackers.
We're at a massive inflection point and there has never been a more exciting time to join us:
We are backed by some of the very best investors (Accel, Tapestry and more).
We are growing very quickly (we doubled ARR last quarter and will triple this year), having recently closed some incredible customers that we can’t disclose publicly!
We are one of the most exciting startups to be part of in the UK, have seen some great feedback from the market and are ready for explosive growth.
Regularly featured on top startup lists from industry veterans… Creandum’s Euro Seed top 50 list, Sifted’s 2025 London Startups To Watch, Notions Cloud Top 100, AlbionVC’s NHI Breakdown, MMCs Proactive Security Analysis, Accel’s Euroscape Top Startups 2024, etc.
Our research has recently helped fix a P1 security flaw in Google’s Gemini CLI.
We're Seed stage, and have grown the company from 2 to 14 people in 18 months,, with plans to triple this in the coming year.
We've built a product that customers want. Now we need someone to help us decide what to build next.
You'll be our first product manager, working with engineering to identify what will deliver the most value. This isn't about writing detailed specs or running sprints. You'll work directly with customers, synthesize their needs, and help the team prioritize ruthlessly. Your success will be measured by what we build and how it impacts our business, not by the artifacts you produce.
Who we're looking forYou have 1-2+ years of PM experience in security. You've worked at a security company and understand the domain. You don't need to be an engineer, but you should grasp how security teams think and what problems they face daily.
You're analytical and data-driven. You know how to gather input from customers, usage data, and team discussions, then make clear prioritization calls. You don't get paralyzed by ambiguity.
You collaborate well with technical teams. You work with engineers to solve problems together, not hand them requirements. You understand technical constraints and use them to make better decisions.
You're comfortable being hands-on. You'll talk to customers weekly, run user research, dig into analytics, create mockups, and help write docs. This is a builder role, not a coordinator role.
You thrive in startup environments. You're energized by fast iteration and working closely with founders. You've experienced the pace of an early-stage company and know it's not for everyone.
About the roleYour core focus:
Own the roadmap. Work with engineering to decide what to build next based on customer needs, business impact, and technical feasibility. You'll have direct input into what we prioritize and why.
Drive feature development. Take features from concept to launch. Talk to customers about problems, work with engineering on solutions, and validate that what we built actually works.
Spend time with customers. Join customer calls, run user research, and build relationships with security teams at Docker, Riot Games, and others. Translate what you learn into clear product decisions.
Work across the company. Partner with sales to understand what prospects need. Collaborate with customer success to learn where users struggle. Help marketing articulate our value proposition.
Make trade-offs. Balance customer requests with technical reality and business goals. You'll need to say no to good ideas so we can focus on great ones.
This role is hands-on. You'll be in customer calls, in engineering discussions, and in the details. As we grow, there will be opportunities to build a product function, but for now, you'll be in the weeds with the rest of us.
FAQsWhere is the office?
The whole team works together in an office right next to Warren Street tube station - there are lots of great places to grab lunch nearby.
Are you doing hybrid/remote?
Short answer: No, but flexible on a day to day basis.
Long answer: We are set on building the company on a foundation of an office based culture. We are a very early stage company and think that we'll build the best company at the fastest pace we can whilst also having a lot of fun by physically working together 5 days a week. On a case by case basis (e.g. leaving early for a holiday, staying home for a builder, working remote for a few days to visit family, etc. etc.) we're very reasonable and flexible. We respect that this is not for everyone.
What are the working hours like?
We think 9am-6pm will bring a great cadence to work. As a Founding Product Manager there will definitely be times you need to pick up work outside of these hours, we're keen to limit this where we can but also offer flexibility in return.
Can you sponsor visas?
We are not able to sponsor visas for this role.
