Capital is one of the most powerful tools for shaping the world - and more people should know how to put it to work. Odin is building the infrastructure to make it radically easier to raise and deploy capital, so that anyone, anywhere, can back the companies and ideas they believe in.
Our first product is a full-stack platform for launching and running private investment firms - think Shopify for VC and PE. We handle all the infrastructure: from legal structuring and investor onboarding to KYC/AML, payments, tax, reporting, and exits.
We’re already trusted by over 10,000 angels, VCs, and founders. We administer over $500m in assets, covering investments from pre-seed to series E. This includes household names like ElevenLabs, OpenAI, SpaceX, xAI, Anduril, etc. but also new companies creating everything from synthetic brains to small nuclear reactors.
The Role
We are looking for a Founding Product Designer to help redefine how capital flows into the ideas shaping the future. You will join Odin at a pivotal moment as we expand into the US, prepare for a new product launch, and set the design culture that future designers will inherit.
Why this role is special
A wide and meaningful remit. You will work side-by-side with Mary and Paddy across product, brand and narrative. This includes the interactions and workflows inside the product, as well as the visual identity and tone that define how Odin shows up in the world.
Foundational ownership from day one. You will shape the entire design philosophy, structure and culture. Very few roles offer this level of creative control and decision-making influence.
A team that cares deeply about users and clarity. You will work with curious, ambitious and kind people who value reasoning from first principles and building something genuinely useful.
In this role, you will
Lead end-to-end design for complex workflows across onboarding, transactions, compliance, reporting and data-heavy user journeys.
Raise the bar on craft. People manage millions through Odin and the product should feel precise, trustworthy and thoughtfully designed.
Spend meaningful time with users. You will interview, test, validate assumptions and build a clear sense of what matters most.
Prototype and iterate rapidly in Figma or code with AI tools and switch fluidly between exploration and refinement.
Build systems. You will create the design language, interaction patterns and quality standards that scale with the organisation.
Work closely with engineering to ensure the shipped product reflects the intention, including detail, clarity and cohesion.
Shape our visual identity in partnership with the founders and communicate the philosophy that sits behind Odin.
Your background looks like
Track record of designing products end-to-end.
Experience owning full journeys with a strong track record of improving clarity, efficiency or adoption.
Strength in interaction design, prototyping, information architecture and visual craft.
A systems mindset. You think across interfaces, emails, workflows, permissions, operational steps and regulatory constraints.
Comfortable working with ambiguity and finding structure in incomplete information.
A natural prototyper who likes to try ideas early to see how they feel.
Confident running product discovery through interviews, tests and assumption validation.
A portfolio that shows real impact rather than polished but unused concepts.
Helpful but not essential: exposure to brand, fintech, B2B, regulated environments or working as the founding designer.

Salary
The salary band for this role is £100,000 - £145,000 + equity options. While this range may seem wide, it reflects that we'll consider where your experience falls within our framework.

Interview with Imani, our Head of People & Talent – In this session, you’ll unpack the role and learn more about us, while she ensures you're the right fit for the position (30-45 mins).
Interview with Mary, our Co-CEO & Co-Founder – During this initial interview, we’ll touch on topics like culture, values, and your experience to see if there’s alignment on both sides (60 mins).
Case Study session with Mary & Our External Design Consultant – In this session, we’ll focus on your visual craft, data-driven impact, and design execution (60 mins).
Live Workshop with the team – This session will focus on your approach to design processes, product thinking, and problem-solving. (90 mins)
Final Interviews with Mary & Paddy, our Founders (2 hours) - At this stage, we're genuinely excited and believe you should spend some time with the founders, learning more about each other and our values.
Our process typically runs over two weeks. We share detailed feedback within 24 hours of each interview stage and aim to line up next steps quickly so momentum isn’t lost.
