As the first technical hire, you will architect the core platform for a real-time insurance capacity marketplace. You'll build AI-powered features like document extraction and intelligent allocation layers, transforming a manual 12-week process into a one-week digital workflow. Working alongside a 3x founder, you will define the company's entire technical DNA.
Location: London, UK or Remote (Europe)

What you will do:
Architect and build the MVP from scratch, including a canonical data model for complex multi-party insurance workflows.
Develop and deploy AI-driven features such as automated PDF/email data extraction and real-time risk signal analytics.
Collaborate directly with the CEO to translate commercial strategy into technical execution while establishing security and compliance-aware foundations.
The ideal candidate:
Proven experience as a founding or early engineer at a high-growth startup with a track record of shipping products from 0 to 1.
Strong full-stack expertise combined with practical AI/ML experience, specifically regarding LLMs, document extraction, or workflow orchestration.
Prior background in regulated industries like Fintech, Insurtech, or Payments, with a focus on building secure, auditable, and scalable marketplace systems.
