Transform each event into social content across LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, and X to expand reach, grow the audience, and generate pipeline. Founding Community and Events Lead

Why this role exists

Jack & Jill is changing how companies hire. We’re ~25 people headquartered in London and building fast. We just raised $40M Series A, led by Air Street Capital with participation from Creandum and Madrona. Read more here https://www.jackandjill.ai/blog/series-a

We launched in San Francisco earlier this year and now we need someone to make London’s startup world stop and pay even more attention.

This is a role for a true superconnector: someone who can throw a room-stopping event and turn it into content that reaches ten times the people who showed up. Every event is two things at once: a real-life moment and a content asset.

You run it, you capture it, you amplify it. That’s the loop, and you own it end to end.

What you’ll own

You’ll design and execute high-impact events (career fairs, founder dinners, meetups, and new formats nobody’s tried yet and we haven’t thought of) that put Jack & Jill in front of the people we most want to reach.
Then take each event and make it travel: recaps, clips, photos, and posts across LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, and X that grow our audience and pull the next crowd through the door.

Events without amplification waste the moment. Social without real events behind it rings hollow. You’ll do both, and you’ll build the playbook as you go.

What you’ll do

  • Own events end to end (concept, logistics, guest lists, day-of execution, follow-up) at real volume.

  • Turn every event into social content that extends its reach far beyond the room, and grow a following around it.

  • Activate your London network from day one and keep widening it: founders, VCs, and operators who show up because your event is the one they can’t miss.

  • Connect the dots from events and content to awareness and pipeline, and measure what’s actually working.

  • Work out of our London HQ alongside the UK GTM team, reporting to our GTM Lead, Kaoru.

You’ll thrive here if you

  • Have run event series at high volume and amplified them on socials with real, measurable reach. You’ve lived both halves of the loop.

  • Come from an events, community, or content role at a startup, fintech, or VC-adjacent company, ideally right here in London.

  • Are a recognised connector in the London ecosystem: people seek you out for intros and access, and they discover you through your content.

  • Have built something from zero (a community, a meet-up, an event series, a following) as a hands-on doer, not from a management seat.

  • Can see the line from a great dinner to a warm pipeline, and you’re comfortable being measured on it.

  • Love the scrappy, high-ownership, 0-to-1 reality of an early-stage startup and want equity upside to match.

Bonus points

  • You’ve run events or communities at a VC fund or accelerator and amplified founder dinners, demo days, or portfolio moments on social media.

  • You were the first community/events/partnerships hire somewhere and built the function from scratch.

  • You’ve tied community work to sign-ups, acquisition, or partnerships with numbers to show for it.

  • You’re genuinely excited about AI and the future of hiring.

The details

  • Type: Individual contributor. You do the hands-on work yourself, not through a team.

  • Location: London, in-office from our London HQ. This is a London role and your network needs to be in London.

  • Compensation: £50 - 80K base plus meaningful equity.

  • Work authorisation: UK right to work strongly preferred. Visa sponsorship is possible in exceptional cases but will slow the process.
