Founding Account Executive — London

TL;DR

We're hiring a Founding AE to take Jack & Jill to the mid-market: high-autonomy, full-cycle sales into TA and hiring leaders. No inherited playbook; you'll be our customer expert, helping design how we grow. If you've personally owned and beaten a number at a high-growth scale-up, not managed a team to one, this is your seat.

Why now

Recruitment hasn't fundamentally changed in decades. There’s the same job shuffle, same spam, same keywords, just with AI on top now. Jack and Jill are autonomous AI agents that work the way a great recruiter would with infinite time. They understand candidates and roles well enough to only make an introduction when they fit.

This isn't an upgrade to recruiting. It's a different category, happening right now.

Why Jack & Jill

In less than a year, we've already worked with 1,000+ technology businesses and supported nearly 300,000 high-calibre candidates. We've raised $20M in seed funding led by Creandum, early backers of Spotify and Klarna, with angels from Lovable, Anthropic, and ElevenLabs.

Two-thirds of our team have founded something before. Matt took Omnipresent from zero to a $600M valuation. Saaras took Kular, YC-backed, from zero to $3M ARR in twelve months. You won't be the only person in the building who's done this before.

What you'll bring

  • Ownership of full-cycle deals, first conversation to signature

  • Taking Jack & Jill to the mid-market, not narrow enterprise hunting

  • Selling into exciting, high-growth businesses, working with TA leaders who don't yet know they need this and influential stakeholder groups

  • Building your own motion (territory, messaging, process) as you go

  • No rigid playbooks — they fall behind the market; trusted people don't

  • AI tools as your default workflow, not a bolt-on

  • Feeding what you hear in the room straight back into product, pricing, and positioning. No roadmap committee, no filters

You'll be the customer and market expert; we'll give you freedom to carve direction.

You have:

  • Carried, and beaten, a significant number (personally, not carried by others):

    • £500K–£1M ARR per year, personally

    • Or delivered 150%+ quota, consistently

  • Cut your teeth on an elite floor like Wiz, Gong, or Ramp, where missing target isn’t an option

  • Or built a commercial function from nothing, and you want to get back to closing

Your preferences:

  • You reach for an AI tool before a spreadsheet

  • You find the answer rather than waiting for it

  • You prefer constructive tension over default answers because there are none here

  • You like sharing where you have a better idea, that instinct is exactly what we look for

Everything in this seat should match how Jack & Jill serve their users. Sharp, fast, genuinely useful. Anything less doesn't fit.

The trajectory:

This is an IC seat, deliberately. For the right person, the growth on offer is the most interesting out there:

  • You'll build alongside people who've scaled to $600M, not several rungs below them

  • The motion you build in London helps define our global efforts that come after

  • What you learn from buyers goes straight into the product. No filters

  • The product improves weekly, at genuine frontier-AI velocity

  • Equity was priced early; if growth continues, that upside compounds

Want a management title in 18 months? This isn't that seat. Want to sit closer to the frontier of applied AI than almost any sales role in London? This is it.

The details

£180k OTE +.
London HQ, five days a week, because we think the best work happens in the room, not because we think remote can't work.

(Sorry, no visa sponsorship for this one.)

We don't add headcount to paper over unsolved problems. We find sharp people, hand them real ownership, and get out of the way.
