About Ohm

Ohm is an enterprise AI platform that helps engineering teams transform how they develop, test, and validate physical products.

Cursor and Claude Code reimagined how software products are developed. Our mission is to address the next frontier: bringing that same shift to how physical products are developed.

Every complex physical product - a battery cell, an electric vehicle, a wearable device - is developed through a process that generates enormous quantities of data, almost none of which is used to its potential. This is precisely the kind of problem modern AI is suited to solve.

We are recruiting exceptional scientists, engineers, and operators to join our mission to reimagine how products are engineered in the next decade.

Ohm is backed by Y Combinator and other world-class investors, as well as serial founders and builders. Our headquarters are in San Francisco; this role opens our presence in Europe.

About the role

You will be Ohm's first hire in EMEA and the founder of our outbound sales motion in the region. In North America, we sell through a founder-led motion across consumer electronics, defense, energy, and medical devices. Your job is to bring that playbook to Europe: build the pipeline, close the region's first accounts, and shape how Ohm sells in EMEA for every hire that follows you.

This is a greenfield territory with direct founder partnership - you'll work day to day with our founder and CEO.

  • Open the territory. Build the EMEA pipeline from scratch - automotive OEMs and their suppliers, battery and energy storage companies, aerospace and defense primes, medical device manufacturers

  • Own the deal. Manage the full sales motion - prospecting, qualification, negotiation, and closing

  • Build the relationship. Meet decision-makers where they are: the trade show in Stuttgart, the test lab outside Munich. Keep a finger on the pulse of each customer's strategy and how Ohm fits their priorities

  • Sell to an outcome. Deeply understand your customers' business and technical challenges, and communicate Ohm's value in their own numbers

  • Run your own technical motion. You'll work directly with the founder and engineering on deep-dive demos and technical validation, but day to day you're technical enough to run discovery and standard demos yourself

What you'll need

  • Enterprise closing experience. A track record of closing six-figure deals into enterprise or strategic accounts in Europe, ideally technical products sold to industrial companies - including building your own pipeline from cold, not just working inbound or SDR-sourced leads.

  • Engineering domain depth. A STEM degree or hands-on experience inside engineering programs in automotive, aerospace, battery, defense, or similar. You can hold a credible technical conversation with a chief engineer

  • Complex solution selling. You run multi-stakeholder, multi-month sales cycles with discipline and structure

What will set you apart

  • You've been in the customer's shoes - you worked as an engineer in test, validation, or development programs before moving into sales

  • You've opened a territory or been a founding/first sales hire before

  • Professional fluency in German or French, and an existing network of engineering and program leaders across European industrial companies.

  • Prior MEDDPICC experience

Wondering if you're a good fit? We believe in investing in our teammates, and value candidates who can bring their own diverse experiences to our teams, even if you aren't a 100% skill or experience match. If some of what we've outlined above describes you, we'd love to hear from you.
