We’re Cortea, a Berlin-based startup building AI products that transform how audits get done.
Auditors spend too much time on manual, repetitive work. We’re fixing that by giving them AI tools that understand their workflows and eliminate the grind. Backed by top-tier VCs with €10m+ in funding, real customers, and a working product — now it’s time to scale.

The Role

This isn’t a “support the founders” role — it’s a build with the founders role.
As Founders Associate (Product), you’ll work side by side with Philipp (Co-Founder) on all product topics — shaping what we build, how we build it, and the impact it creates.

You’ll be part of a small, high-trust team bringing Cortea from product-market fit to category leadership. The work is dynamic, collaborative, and full of ownership — expect variety, real responsibility, and constant learning from day one.

What you’ll do
  • Work hand-in-hand with our founders on product strategy and execution

  • Turn ideas, feedback, and user insights into actionable product decisions

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and customers to ship real value

  • Drive structure into chaos: refine our roadmap, process, and priorities

  • Help us learn faster — run experiments, validate hypotheses, and measure outcomes

You’ll grow faster here than anywhere else if you crave ownership, speed, and real impact.

Who you are
  • 2+ years of product-related experience (PM, strategy, consulting, or similar)

  • Worked in fast-paced environments — startup, scale-up, or consulting — and loved the pace

  • Curious, analytical, and empathetic — you go deep to always understand the Why behind problems

  • Structured and reliable; you bring calm and clarity to complex problems

  • Strong communicator who connects naturally with both tech and non-tech teams

  • Motivated by constant learning, real impact, and fun collaboration

  • Strong communicator in English and German

  • (Bonus) You’ve founded something before — a project, startup, or initiative
