A Company That Matters

Insurance exists to support people at their most vulnerable, after an accident, illness, theft, fire, or crisis. Claims are the moment of truth. That's why we're passionate about making every claim more empathetic, more efficient, and more human.

ClaimSorted is an AI-native Third Party Administrator that manages claims operations for insurers across auto, property, travel, gadget, pet, renters, and liability. We combine world-class claims talent with proprietary AI systems to deliver dramatically faster resolutions, lower leakage, and a fundamentally better customer experience.

Backed by Y Combinator, Atomico, and Eurazeo, we've raised $16M+ and already manage more than $200M in insurance premium, including publicly traded companies and some of the most well-known household names.

The Role

You'll work directly with the founders on the things that hold a fast-growing company together: how we operate day to day, how we hire, and how it feels to join us. Broad scope, real ownership, from your first month.

  • Define how ClaimSorted operates day to day — the cadence, processes and tools that keep a fast-growing team coordinated as we scale.

  • Own the candidate and employee experience end to end, and build the systems that keep it consistently high.

  • Set the standard for how ClaimSorted communicates, internally and out — voice, templates, response times.

  • Act as the first filter on our hiring pipeline: run screening calls and shape the founders' shortlist.

We love working together in the office, so this is a full-time, office-based role in our London office. We're a high-intensity team and often put in significant time and effort, because we believe great outcomes come from doing the work well.

Qualifications
  • 0–3 years somewhere you had to organise people and juggle priorities — startup, accelerator, consulting, VC, or a previous founder associate seat.

  • You hold several priorities at once and know which one matters today.

  • You fix processes rather than absorbing them.

  • Naturally good with people, and quick to build rapport.

  • Excellent writing. Much of this role is writing on behalf of the company.

  • Proficient with AI tools.

Our Values
  • Move Fast – Act decisively, iterate quickly, optimise for momentum.

  • Always Overdeliver – We exceed expectations in everything we do.

  • Think Customer-First, Always – The customer experience drives every decision.

  • Challenge the Status Quo – We innovate relentlessly and never settle for 'good enough.'

  • Say It How It Is – Transparency and direct communication build trust.

About the Interview
  • Screening call (20 min) with the hiring manager

  • Technical (45 min) – a real ClaimSorted problem, worked live: triage a week of competing priorities and draft the candidate-facing communications that go with it

  • Founder interview (30 min) – how you think about ownership, priorities, and people

  • Team day (paid) – come and work with us for a day

Benefits (UK)
  • Generous, transparent equity participation

  • Quarterly performance bonus: up to 15% of quarterly salary

  • Private medical insurance

  • Pension contributions in line with UK auto-enrolment requirements

  • 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays

  • 30 days of remote work annually

  • Skilled Worker visa sponsorship

  • Company offsites

  • Accelerated promotion track in a high-growth environment
