👥 About the team

The Operations team is responsible for the execution and success of our D2C member experience and B2B supply chain. This team covers all backend operations from order to results delivery for our food products and home testing kits; and retail product supply chain. This includes inventory & fulfilment, vendor management & performance, and testing data analysis. We bridge the gap between member expectations and lived experience. Our team is innovative, driven and passionate about ZOE’s mission to improve the health of millions.


💼 About the role

We’re looking for a supply chain specialist to support in the development of efficient and effective supply chains for new products which are yet to hit the market, within a recently launched new food category. In doing this, you will strive for economic efficiencies and excellent pricing agreements. You will use data to optimise stock management to effectively balance sales forecasts with targeted stockholding valuations, expiration date management and subscription models. You will also have knowledge of food product supply chain, and customs import and export processes. The role will also include driving efficiencies in the procurement of goods for existing products.

You’ll be…

  • Responsible for procurement operations across our new food category, and supporting Vendor Management on minimising cost per unit and project teams in supporting new product development
  • Supporting procurement of existing inventory
  • Coordinating the import and export of goods to and from the UK and US from worldwide suppliers, and be responsible for inter-company transfers
  • Creating stock management processes for new products
  • Supporting cross-functional projects and optimising collaboration across departments
  • Supporting the launch of new products
  • Responsible for regulatory compliance for movement of goods
  • Optimising existing processes, including working closely with suppliers and Finance to maximise inventory turnover, weeks on hand and minimise shrinkage
  • Monitoring and analysing key operational metrics to assess inventory performance, identify trends, and propose actionable solutions for improvement
  • Streamlining workflows and ensure consistency in operations

  • Experience in supply chain management, with a strong focus on food or beverage product supply chains.
  • Proven track record of sourcing and procuring new products.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of international customs regulations and requirements.
  • Confident communicator, with experience working with stakeholders at all levels within an organization.
  • Strong ability to use data to inform decision-making.
  • A proactive approach, with a knack for offering creative solutions to operational challenges.
  • Comfortable working in an ambiguous, changing environment and adapting quickly to new projects and objectives.
  • Collaborative, positive, people-oriented, and enthusiastic in your approach.
  • Technical experience using inventory management platforms.
  • Experience with SQL and BigQuery (not mandatory, but a plus).
