Job purpose

As a Production Manager - Syring Filling, you will be responsible for the operations of a production plant within a production site:

  • Responsible for activities and resources engaged in the production process and for their continuous optimization
  • Coordination of manpower targets, resources and skills
  • Evaluation of capacities (employees and machines) necessary to the completion of the production plan - May be involved in the coordination of supply and demand
In this role you will…
  • Supervise / Manage day to day vaccines operations (Bulk, Formulation and Filling) in a multiple products environment.
  • Apply the recommended processes and anticipate potential improvements of the current processes while assuring compliance with the Change Management procedures.
  • Ensure compliance of the operations with GMP and Authorities requirements. Monitor quality of the production in close collaboration with QC and take corrective actions when necessary. Responsible to implement the Operational Excellence Process in Page 2 / 4 the facility.
  • Be a representant of his activities in external audits
  • Organise and monitor performance progress efficiency of the facility through Key Performance Indicators related to Quality, Budget, Delivery and Security.
  • Provide technical support to direct reports.
Why you?

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bio Engineer or University degree in sciences or equivalent acquired through experience
  • At least 2 years’ experience managing a team in an operational function (vaccine or specific production unit, quality, logistics)
  • Good knowledge of quality management systems (CAPAs, deviations, change control, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge in supply chain management, processes, biopharmaceuticals technologies.
  • Full knowledge of GMP for biologicals products
  • Knowledge of cellular and viral culture processes is an asset
  • SAP knowledge is a plus
  • French is mandatory, a good level of English is expected (written and spoken)
