Join our Securities Trade Support team as a Fixed Income Trade Support Associate, where you'll play a vital role in capturing traders' risk, maintaining close relationships with internal teams, and driving process improvements through re-engineering and automation. As a Fixed Income Trade Support Associate within the Securities Trade Support Team, you will be responsible for capturing traders' risk, maintaining close working relationships with internal teams, performing control reconciliations to verify trade positions, investigating settlements, and focusing on process re-engineering and automation.
Job responsibilities:

• Captures trade and risk for securities, futures, and FX.
• Manages life cycle events, including trade instruction, pre-matching, and settlement.
• Performs control reconciliations to verify trading positions are accurate through front office to middle office reconciliations, and middle office to back office reconciliations.
• Investigates and provides solutions to queries from settlements, external clients, and front office.
• Produces management statistics to support decision-making.
• Completes operations projects and ad hoc requests to satisfy new initiatives and operations/technology enhancements, including new system implementations.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Strong logical and analytical mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and challenge the status quo.
• Understanding of process flow, including the ability to understand current flows and linkage between systems, and think about how the process can be improved or streamlined.
• Previous experience in the finance industry in operations roles.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in VBA for process automation and improvement.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Experience in trade support or similar roles within the financial industry.
• Familiarity with securities, futures, and FX trading processes.
